Lesnar should win easily. Herring, in addition to being on the way out, never had a submission game of note.

Lame. I'd rather see him in with a striker like Kongo or Sanchez.

Herring is no goldfish for Lesnar. Herring could **** him up.

Damn they must not like Lesnar. Herrings a scrappy son of a ***** and hes been around for ever fought just about everyone and everywhere. I was thinking something less dangerous like Eddie Sanchez or Justin McCully.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they keep giving him guys that are bad style matchups. Kimbo Slice is getting tomato cans, and Lesnar is getting a rocky road of it.

Yeah its strange man first off hes giving a former UFC Champion with incredible ground skills now a veteran of over 30 fights and would actually be the #1 contender if Nogueria wasnt Champ right now cause obviously UFC dont want Nog-Herring 4. But I remember Kongo being called the top contender going into UFC 82. UFCs Heavyweight divison is getting weak Vera-Wedrum probablly faces off Herring-Lesnar winner for number 1 contendership and honestly none of that exictes me not even Mir-Nogueria I just wish I was a Lightweight on the show to learn from them guys but I missed the tryout date.

I felt the Mir fight was a bit of a set up, considering that Lesnar's big weakness would obviously be submission defense. However, I don't see how this is a bad match-up for Lesnar. Herring has horrible takedown defense, as O'brien showed.... and I don't see how Herring is going to beat Lesnar from his back.

I thought that Lesnar said that he wanted to fight the best straight off the bat and so the UFC are just giving him what he wants.
Still fighting two veterans in your first few fights is gonna be hell for Lesnar or anyone for that matter.

Herring is going to **** him up bad, I think.

Heath Herring is a real fighter and Lesnar is a wrestler. I can't imagine Lesnar winning, even though Herring is pretty much the right style for him.

    Herring KO3

I wonder what the odds are going to be for this fight. This could be worth throwing a couple grand down on depending on the odds. Herring is a tough sob.

Well Herring has beat Erikson and Kerr, both pretty similar to Lesnar in terms of a being big strong wrestlers.

I think Lesnar can pull it off though, Herring can't seem to stop a takedown to save his life anymore.
