he deserves to be in the hof but colin hart is a wanker and knows nothing about boxing, all he dribbles on about is ali and frazier.
hart is a wanker knows nothing about boxing, wears a bad wig, and is a known raving homosexual queen, something he always denies
tyson is the most overated fighter ever and when people ussualy yankie doodles bang on about him it makes me want to cry as there have been not only far better fighters but far more deserving fighters but to the point yes hes wrong tyson is still HOF worthy
The HOF is for fighters not people. It's for their legacy not their character. I'm sure there are a number of womenisers, bullies etc in the HOF. It's not the Hall of Morality.
If Mcguigan made it into the hall of fame i think Tyson is nailed on for both his achievements in the sport and his elevation of the sport. This should not even be in question. There are few sports people who are as widely known throughout the planet as Tyson
Tyson should be in the HOF for his boxing acheivements, winning the title at such a young age etc. Jake La Motta was a known cheat but still got in for instance, and Tyson's (dodgy) conviction was nothing to do with boxing. Not that I don't think he obviously was a bit of wanker away from boxing, I just don't think it should affect the ballot. Hall of Fame - there's not been many more famous than Iron Mike.
Then Don King shouldn't be in there also.. damn there's quite a few HOF potentials that did some ill stuff outside..
I think Mike was slightly overrated, but to suggest he's not HOF worthy, especially when you consider the value of those who have already been inducted, is just preposterous! Quite what being in the HOF is worth these days i'm not so sure though...just like with the P4P people just seem to pluck the criteria for HOF worthiness from thin air, to suit their argument.
Mike Tyson has forgotten more about Boxing than Colin Hart will EVER know! Put them both in the same room to talk Boxing & Tyson would show him up. Colin Hart is clearly not very professional at his job. He is allowing his personal view of Tyson to overshadow his Judgement of the man in the ring! I remember Gil Clancy once being asked about Tyson's place among the HW greats. His answer was something of the following: "I don;t like the man, but you cannot deny him as a fighter. He (Tyson) is right up there with the very best". That's what you call a person being professional. What HPF is Colin Hart in? The Donut HOF, perhaps? Guy still thinks Muhammad Ali is the best P4P fighter ever! atsch
