    Jones a brutal puncher

    Maragrito rock solid chin

    Jones got a good chin too - only ever stopped once on the cut by Don Curry and said after the fight he could have

    "taken them punches all night"

    and Curry was a destrcutive puncher

    Margirito was able to dominate Cotto and make him crumble

    but Colin is a bigger natural Welterweight

    who wins and how?

    Margo by attrition. Late stoppage or UD, I don't see Colin being able to put a dent in Margarito.

    I would not be so sure about that

    as I know Margsrito is one tough son of a *****

    but he is easy to hit as Cotto showed

    and I'm thinking Colin punches harder than Cotto

    this would be a war I'm in no doubt

    I agree Jones punches harder than Cotto, but Jones tended to demolish people at domestic and Euro level rather than world class. He only really hurt McCrory a couple of times over the course of two fights whereas Curry KO'd him in 2 rounds. I know Curry had speed on his side but I think it still shows that maybe Jones' power at world level was good rather than great?

    fair point

    I think he was at a big physical disadvantage against McCory who was so long and rangy compared to Jones - and it was hard to get to him

    I think he would find Margarito easy to hit - and land more often

    but it would develop into a war of attirition

    I would make Margarito favorite

    but Jones a live underdog

    Jones probably wins on points, all Margarito has Is an Insane chin and good workrate.

    Got to go with Margarito by late rounds stoppage.

    Id pick a chin over power 9 times out of 10.

    Plus i would say Cotto is a better fighter than Jones, craftier aswell, so if Margo can get Cotto i think he'd get Jones.

    Jones has got a good chin though

    better than Cotto

    he took Currys bombs like they were nothing

    only his nose didnt hold up.

    Not bigger than Margo

    I mean bigger than Cotto

    neither man would have trouble finding the other - a war for sure

    Colin would not box off the back foot like COTTO i am sure of that

    he tried to take Currys head off

    he would try to do the same to Margrito

    however Margarito is not shy from having a fight either

    it would be brutal
