Quintana, unlike Collazo, doesn't have a chance against Margarito. He's slick, but he's just not durable enough.

I'm sorry, talking about Collazo. Even more than Quintana in my opinion, Louie has a huge problem with pressure fighters and I think that you can witness that in the first rounds against Hatton. Louie was leaning back against the ropes, taking shots and complaining to the ref in Boston as early as the second round with Ricky hammerin up on him on the ropes. True that Collazo came back and produced those series of sneaky right hands in the 12th but is that enough to say that he would make Tony hold his punches and make em travel the distance? I don't know... I still believe Carlos would have a better shot.

The only fight Hatton did any holding was in the 12th round.

To me, it showed ring intelligence - was he supposed to just stand there and let Collazo hit him?

Well maybe. Some of you made me doubt my original thoughts. In a 15 rounds fight I can definitely see Margarito stopping him.
In a 10 rounder, I can see Collazo winning 6-4.
In a 12 rounder, well, I'm not sure what happens.

Collazo doesn't have the work rate to keep up with Margarito. He dispatches Collazo in 7rds. Something tells me Collazo as about durable as Cintron or Cotto, no more, possibly less.

If you think that Collazo would beat Margarito you are a ****ING MORON!!!!

First you started a thread about Hatton doing more than Cotto which is compleatly BULL**** and now this thread to try to diminish Cotto....

Margarito has lost to two southpay's Williams and schooled by an average Santos.

I give the equally average Collazo a chance. 40%

This is a crock of ****. Stop running around telling people Tony got schooled by either of these guys. They were close fights! 115-113 and 96-94. Lay off the crackpipe!

And don't forget the southpaws were 6'2" 81" wingspan 162lbs. The other 5'11" 170lbs. Again, lay off the crackpipe.

:rofl If Collazo beats Margarito then Carlos Maussa would put Margarito in a coma.

I don't diminish Cotto You piece of ***. I stated facts. Hey, your fighter got exposed as a good fighter, not great. Now, get on with your life. I respect Cotto, but a pound for pounder shouldn't lose to a good but limited fighter like Maragarito at his best weight. Cotto boxed well half the fight and then he just blew it.
By the way, I think Cotto beats Collazo. Styles make fights.

I see why you o would think that but Collazo just isnt the calibre that Marg, Cotto, PW and others like Shane, DLH ect are. Callazo is a very solid fighter....does alot well but nothing is spectacular about this kid. he did loose to guys that Marg would destroy. Guys like Luis Callazo and Carlos Quintana are similar in style and also skill level. I just don't think he has the mental toughness and ability to really beat a guy like Marg. He may do well in spots but ultimately ends up with a KO loss.

Collazo is solid. But you are high off of your ****ing ass if you believe that. Margarito would smash him, so would Cotto. They are way too strong for Luis
