Mark my words on this fight fans ... Collazo will be the one to give Berto his first loss ...

Berto was getting all he could take from Steve Forbes ... Berto isn't strong, he isn't crafty, and he has zero defensive ability.

All these people riding the Berto wagon will soon find out - that he's nothing more than a punching bag ... he has never faced an elite fighterr and to this date his toughest test has been Steve Forbes.

    Thoughts???

He could outpoint him, not KO him; Luis is a feather duster really.

Collazo sucks. Why does he keep getting title shots?

I agree Luis will outbox him and hurt him plenty but I don't think he will stop him

Collazo has power in his left hand ... Berto does fight with his chin in the air ... it doesn't matter what Collazo has ... if he connects at the right spot on Berto's chin -- it could equal "goodnight"

It will be his first proper title shot since he lost to Ricky Hatton 2 1/2 years ago.

In truth, he ought to have remained No.1 contender and fought for the vacant strap after Hatton dropped back to 140 because it was a very close fight.

In response to an earlier poster, I wouldn't say he was feather fisted - when he sits on his punches properly he has decent power, but tries to outslick his opponent as much as anything else. He is prone to lapses in concentration and laziness, which can cost you a flash KD and/or a close round - but has a decent chin and can weather an assault pretty well.

One thing in his favour against Berto is that he is a southpaw. Berto struggled with Forbes who is pretty slick - so imagine him against a slick southpaw. Both Hatton and Mosley (less so) were caught lunging in at times - Berto has lesser punch resistance than either.

He'd better KO Berto, because HBO's banking on Berto being a big star and making them big $$. Collazo would have to humiliate Berto to get a decision.

If this man can get knocked down and hurt by a fringe contender Cosme Rivera ... then a flush punch by Collazo might put him to sleep.

Collazo has the potential to hurt and beat Berto but....please chill out when saying Berto sucks or is a fraud...The young man is loaded with natural talent and will still continue to improve, so let's give him his chance to do so before calling him a fraud...or anything else to bring him down..

Collazo would be a very good test for Berto. Although I think Berto would pull out a close decision.
