Thurman was on the verge of losing and Haymon made the call. Thurman was getting broken down so Al saved him.

Thurman was almost knocked out in this fight. They were desperate to get Luis to quit.

I thought it was bizarre he pulled out. He looked really fired up and was fighting well. He was standing up well to Thurman's power too and there was a chance his pressure might have got to Thurman in the late rounds had he carried on. At no point was there any indication judging from his body language and the way he was fighting that he was about to pull out. I didn't see that coming at all. Weird.

Same here. I'd prefer to see Thurman get a legit KO.

The blood was streaming into Collzao's eyes during the round. That's why he quit. I think he should've toughed it out, but that's why he quit.

His corner got a text from Al Haymon to quit.
