Yea, if the fight were still going on I would have picked Collazo to win.

Possible weight issues or a verbal contract getting set up for more money, as always.

At first I was surprised too considering he has a hard time getting decent fights.

But apparently he really cant make 147 effectively anymore mixed with a purse bid of only 105,000 total, when he has a camp that generally costs like 15000/20000 I can understand he really would make anything ecspecially if he lost.

Arena Box won the purse big, and the fight was going to be held in Turkey. Collazo would of been robbed IMO

Yea, that was in the back of my head, if they fought, and it was any kind of close I figured Collazo would have been robbed yet again.

He needs to get in the ring fast. Inactivity is a plague that discriminates towards no fighter.

Yea inactivity is going to ruin his career. He may just need to suck it up and ko a few club fighters to stay active. As long as he keeps winning something will come along.

I know I wish to turn amateur soon and would jump at the opportunity to fight anyone. Let alone spar with anyone so when I hear these fighters with opportunites to fight but don't take them it sickens me. Hopefully Collazo can outbox someone decent but I don't see him ko'ing people at 154 but who knows lets see.

Sounds reasonable to me. I for one would never go to Turkey to fight. That Vidoz-Sam fight should be indicator enough. Vidoz won probably 9 rounds of that fight and first the judges declared it a draw, only to "mysteriously" change it to a UD for Sam! And that Sam's vile promoter Ahmet Oener furiously cursed the judges and seemed to threaten them after the fight is just a coincidence...yeah, right!

Collazo is a damn good fighter. Frustrating to see his career go like this.

I agree. I feel like I've been seeing this more and more lately, Good fighters being so inactive it ruins their careers.
