Collins wins over Eubank, and Benn or Calzaghe's wins over Jones, and Hopkins - which are more impressive?

I was thinking exactly the same thing, very similar sets of victories given the ages and peaks of the fighters. Hard to say but I'd possibly give Collins the edge.

Calzaghe's win over Bhop alone is more impressive. Benn and Eubank were damaged from tragic fights, never the same operators again. Last nights win doesnt add a great deal to the question.

calzaghe as collins would have lost to the hopkins that calzaghe fought.

in fact collins should have lost to eubank in fight 1 when eubank had him completely gone .
but perhaps the watson fight allowed collins to get away with it.

benn and jones could be argued as a good anology

It is difficult because the Hopkins win is possibly the best out the four, but the Jones win possibly the worst.

benn lay down and retired from a dubious foot injury from memory , not really having even given it a go v collins.

obviously an end of career payday non effort.

jones did try and was game but also an end of career payday.

    The order of victories...

    Hopkins

    Eubank
    Jones
    Benn

Calzaghe also holds a more convincing win over a similar version of Eubank.

I think you're forgetting the fact that Eubank had fought eight fights in twelve months prior to this bout and that he had collins on his arse seeing birdies flying aroung his head in the 10th.

He got a right bollocking off his corner for not finishing the average Collins off.
all it would have taken would have been another cross or maybe a light combo and the ref would have stopped it.

Eubank was a true warrior with a chin of iron.

Gotta be Collins as i dont think Joe deserved the decision over Hopkins and Jones career was over in 2004, neither Hopkins or Calzaghe deserved to win that fight.

Eubank was still a good fighter when he lost to Collins he put on a career best peformance against Wharton, Benn was a shot fight though imo.

Yeah, it ranks right up there with Holyfield's draw against Lennox Lewis.

Eubank was like that against Collins, for ****sake i can`t understand that, knocked him down and he could`ve ended it.A lot of his fights though after the Micheal Watson fight must of made him less dangerous after nearly killing him.
