 Still calling it a robbery then.

The fact you can compare a close fight like Hop-Calzaghe with Holy-Lewis is worrying.

crossing the atlantic and defeating hopkins is career defining. Maybe enough win to propel him to ATG status

Bingo - you hit the nail on the head there. People LOVE to exaggerate Eubank's decline, as well as his ability in the first place.

don't undersetimate eubank, he was very good.

the truth is that 2 tragedies finished either boxer.

the 2 eubank v benn fights and the 2 eubank v watson fights were proper wars that took a lot out of eubank. how eubank pulled the victory out of the bag in the 2nd watson fight i will never know, but the tragic consequences of that fight for watson meant that eubank was never the same again. he never had that killer instinct in his boxing again to knock people out, plus the fights had taken something out of him.

it was the same for benn after the mcllelan fight. benn never came close to being same fighter again.

No Holyfields draw with Lewis was a robbery, Although I think he could have an argument in the rematch result. But Calzaghe does hold a win over Hopkins in America in a fight with 3 American judges (not that I think that counts just pointing out its not a home town decision) Hopkins was trying to get points deducted faking low blows & trying to get some timeout which is not what someone who thinks they are winning tend to do. So id say Calzaghes victories rank a bit higher, but all good wins all the same

Calzaghe's win over Hopkins for me is by far the best victory out of these. Then Collins' wins over Eubank. The Jones Jr and Benn victories are about even and don't really mean much to me. Both were a complete shell of their former selves.

    Usually cliched bull****!

Eubanks was unbeaten when he faced Collins and was young than Collins to the prime and over the hill bull goes out the window.

Eubanks didnt seem to have a problem laying in with heavy hands to stop other fighter post Watson - but all of a sudden he was too scared to hurt Collins and therefore let him off the hook - more bolllockss!!

Eubanks got soundly beaten TWICE!! by Collins and so did Benn. Its a bitter pill for the Brits so swallow - but open wide boys cos here it comes!!!

I love it, an unbeaten fighter - a complete shell of his former self. Catch yerself on!
