One of boxing's saddest saddest origin stories, Edison Miranda was abandoned as a youth and had to survive on the streets in the most extremes of poverty, eating roadkill to survive. That's very well on the extreme end of things where fighters can come from, occupying turf with fellow nightmare childhoods like Kassim Ouma. Whatever Miranda's short comings, he was always an exciting fighter (And I've always had a soft spot for Pantera) and as seen here (And later against Francisco Sierra) he had a real penchant for blasting out the B and C level fighters of the world in ways that even the best of the best couldn't duplicate. Whatever his shortcomings, power was absolutely not something he lacked. Enjoy! This content is protected
Kind of became a journeyman, eventually moved all the way up to cruiserweight and had a much closer than the cards show fight with one of the top dogs up there at the moment, Dorticos. I want to say I heard he had run into some legal trouble with the past few years...?
