No he most definitely did not get lucky but yes I do agree, Moorer could have kept is ego better in check and listened more to his corner because they warned him about 10 times to watch for the Foreman right. Foreman set up that entire situation and lead Moorer down that road intentionally to score the eventual knockout. He intentionally didn't use his right for the first nine rounds of the fight. This lulled Moorer into the false assumption that Foremans power was gone and even if he did land a right, it was very weak. Meaning he could stand right in front and go toe to toe without risking a knockout. The first 1-2 combo (L jab, then the in close overhand right) positioned Moorer exactly where George wanted him, partially stunned him, and then he followed up with a nearly identical combination, left jab followed by an unbelievably in close right hand that Moorer didn't see coming. It was a perfect knockout, and it was planned. George didnt just get lucky imho.

This explains more of his strategy going into the fight and how he called the fight before it happened.

Thomas Hearns and James Toney. That combo would be the best fighter from Detroit since Ray Robinson

Shibata really was a great boxer that just lacked the chin imo,if you just give him the chin of In Jin Chi it's over.

Roy Jones Jr and Nikolai Valuev.

Some poor super middle or light heavy facing an opponent with Roy Jr’s speed and power mixed with Sugar silky smoothness and pure finesse.

That's the very best heavyweight mash up i read in here. Not only do they bring almost opposite virtues to the table they are also quite close to a physical match which makes it a more likely blend than most mentioned.

Hearns/McCallum - We add Mikes durability, wind, timing and slickness to Hearns devastating speed and power. That's pretty unstoppable at 154.
