Frank gets stun locked by the jab and absolutely bricked by the right hand.

They both fought Coatzer. Bruno had more trouble. In fact Frank should have lost that fight by DQ

I see this like the Steward fight where Foreman eats jabs and puffs up .. George was tricky and may have sneaked something in there like a Bonecrusher on an inexperienced Bruno but he was very slow and when Bruno got caught and tired out it was against terrific , prime guys like Lewis, Tyson or Witherspoon ... Frank was also a huge puncher and he'd land and George would feel it too ... a ten round decision that would be very interesting ...

Bruno's chin was suspect and he had no survival instincts.

    That's tailor made for Foreman.

Bruno had to hold on like an octopus vs McCall in final 2 or 3 rounds, Bruno wouldn't be able to do that vs Foreman. Who is arguably the most physically strong Heavyweight in history.

As I said if it's a 10 rounder I can possibly see Bruno, just about getting over the line to win a decision. But I just can't see Foreman not landing on Bruno at some point, and as you know Bruno is like a deer in the headlights when he gets stunned. And having such a weakness against someone like Foreman is a recipe for disaster.

The Foreman who faced Holyfield beats most but the very elite Heavyweights of that time who did'nt outright run a track meet around him like Tommy Morrison did.
Foreman imo brutally knocks out Bruno.

What top natural heavyweight did the comeback Foreman beat ? He never even fought Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Mercer, Bruno, Ruddock, Tucker, Weaver, Smith , Douglas and so on ... the man cherry picked opponents and self promoted himself into a zillion dollars and that's all good for him and to his credit but when you remove the romanticizing he avoided every top big heavyweight puncher except for blown up cruisers and highly flawed like Morrison ... he was able to do it because he was a brilliant self promoter that brought in the ratings and put up a courageous fight in losing a lopsided decision to Holyfield ..

The fact is Foreman knocked out Moorer and no matter how many labels and descriptions are connived to negate him from the conversation it happened.

Moorer was a fully fledged 215- 220 pound heavyweight by this point and lineal champion of the world. He'd beaten Holyfield who had beaten Bowe (who is on your list of demands above) the fight previous. Moorer had also beaten Bonecrusher incidentally. Bonecrusher had stopped Bruno at one point incidentally. Moorer actually has a better win than Bruno ever achieved......by far.

He barely beat Holyfield in the judges eyes which counts but hit the deck, went life and death with Cooper, he beat the ghost of Bonecrusher and the One Trick Samoan smoked him in like 10 seconds.

Glass cannon Moorer would have been murdered by post prison Tyson, Bowe and Lewis and they would not had to come from behind to win by a lucky shot.while literally loosing EVERY round til then. Fact. Moorer is the guy who lingers with no hopers like Bean/Botha/Schulz etc, thats his level.

Reality: Moorer got lucky against Holyfield who is a light puncher and in his first defense lost vs a Fossil who also got lucky and consequently dropped every belt he won in that match to avoid ANY fighter with a pulse.....

Conclusion: Michael Moorer sucked in the grand scheme of things at Heavyweight.

LOL, "Lineal" champion...............absolute meaningless but sounds soooooo" classic", you cannot even buy a cup of coffee for it.....at least you get paid for the ABC straps.

I agree foreman wins. But by the time George to Coetzer he had already been pretty well tenderized

Moorer was a bloated cruiserweight w a weak chin. If that’s your standard for Foreman’s golden standard at heavyweight no positioning on your part will move me.

You are an emotion based poster with so much skin in the game. Everything is just so exaggerated and biased be it praise for your preferred or criticism for your not so preferred/hated.

The FACT of the matter is that Moorer beat Holyfield and won the lineal title. Foreman then left him prone.

To try and convey that post prison Tyson, Lewis and Bowe would "murder" Moorer isn't "fact" as you try to claim but opinion. At some point in life you need to pick up a dictionary and look up the word "fact". Pro tip - it doesn't mean what you have grown up to think it means.

I could go into an emotional tirade and criticise the living **** out of Bruno, and quite easily at that, but i really don't need to and we all love a good Bruno. Despite his shortcomings i quite admire the man.

Quite funny how you launch into tirades telling us how shot and terrible post prison Tyson was when talk of his losses comes up but you are awfully quick to pick him easily over this one and that one too like he was a big player of the time LOL

I wouldn't begin to try and move you. The fact is Moorer struggled greatly to make light heavyweight and was always going to end up a lot bigger. I would agree he could have went to cruiserweight for quite a long stay but i'd also contend he was plenty big for heavyweight and carried more than enough power there. Holyfield could have stayed there for years too. Not many sound minded posters bang on about Holyfield being a blown up cruiser that's for sure. Obviously Holyfield had a lot more success at Heavy than Moorer and was overall a better fighter there however Moorer did get that W and it has to count for something.

At the end of the day George hardly has to find some "golden standard" to be guaranteed of success against Bruno. Frank can't fight at all once hurt and virtually always struggled at the end of fights against anyone that could put pressure on him no matter how good he'd looked previously.

Foreman would be all calm and patient in there and whether he got Bruno in trouble in the mid rounds or a little later he'd take his chance when it came. Frank barely threw a punch in the last round against McCall and had to clinch for survival the entire time against a guy that struggled to position him.

Old Foreman wasn't overly that good, absolutely. He'd be good enough to take his chance against Frank tho IMO, absolutely. Too much experience, power and tenacity for Frank who was quite fragile in many ways.

What part of "glass chinned" don't you get Johnny...........even shot post prison Tyson cracks that glass, shot Golata Bowe cracks that glass, you dig?

And if you believe a fighter sits close to 4 years in jail, after release fights barely more than a handful of rounds and then faces a ACTIVE battle proven fighter and still believe said fighter is still Prime after the above I would recommend ocean front property in Arizona to you.

While Bruno had his faults he usually lost only against the best and actually doing pretty well until getting stopped while Comeback Foreman was not the best as witnessed vs Stewart.Saverese/Schulz/Grimsley etc.............and Bruno is way better than those no hopers.

Trivia: if Bruno was such easy pickings how come Foreman never got near him ? It would have drawn Mega $$$$$$, especially in England.

Oh god i love a good pet name......not from males tho. Well i shouldn't assume now should i.

My what a mighty big STRAWMAN you have!!!

Bruno lost to a pre prime James Smith for heavens sake. Smith barely went at him until the last round but that was enough. He barely survived the end of the McCall fight. Bruno's best win column is very very thin. He sure looked good in a few of those losses tho, which is highly likely how this would go. Bruno looking excellent until he isn't, suddenly.

Oh my, did Frank avoid him?

How come Mikey Tyson didn't fight Old George after Foreman called him out time and time again? "It would have drawn Mega $$$$$$"

    ;)

Yet he could not "brutally" KO Stewart/Saverese/Schulz/Grimsley..............and 75 % of that list got waxed by other fighters in literal seconds.........did not even make it out of the first 90 secs out of the first round.............but brutally is brutally..
