    favorite moments:

    both in the first pac fight:

    1. winning the fight going into the 12th, Morales' corner says "dont do anything stupid." Morales goes out into the last round, fights left handed against southpaw pacquaio, proceeds to get obliterated, but continues to trade left handed. Ive never seen him switch hit before. Afterwards, merchant asks "why did you go southpaw in the 12th." Morales asks "did you like it?", merchant- "yes, very much so", morales- "okay then." ****ing badass.

    2. Morales gets caught by pac, pac flurries and morales falls into the ropes, morales gets upright, and flexes his arms while they;re dropped as if to say "how dare you." pac raises his arms, welcoming the brawl, and morales drives pac to ropes immediately blasting him with both hands.

    I don't even recall a fight with EM (besides that stinker, thanks to Raheem) that was not entertaining.

    Morales vs Pacquiao I, one of the best fights I've ever seen.

    I think i'll watch it again.

    At the end of that fight when Larrry Merchant is intreviewing him and says something about how great the fight was and Morales says something like "I'm glad you liked it"

    all 3 of his fights with barrera, he was just ****ign badassssss. throwing the bottle at barrera after the third fight. he is by far the toughest and most badass fighter of this era i think

    morales is a real warrior and bad ass. my favorite fighter of the past 8 years. so many memorable moments, and fights that were always entertaining. the highlights of erik's career for me have to be the 3 awesome wars with MAB, 2 awesome wars with pac (though the 3rd fight was already a mismatch) and the destruction of a very good super bantam in ayala (i just love this fight, absolute clinic against a top 3 122 lb'er at the time). also the fights with mcculough, chi, chavez, hernandez are worth a mention for me. it would have been great to see morales get his hands on hamed after barrera got done with him:yep.

    The man is a legend, at 122 I don't see anyone beating him except maybe Gomez. One of the greatest warriors ever.
