yeah, he's a real great fighter. and better person.

filipinos respect him much more than they respect barrera, if at all.

he gives it all out every fight.

i have all 3 pac-morales DVDs at home. i love watching them, especially their 2nd fight.

oh man, dnt bring back the old days where the true legends were legends. Nowadays we have people like Mayweather jr and Hatton, i'd sell all this hype for another night of mexican pride. Those fights made you proud of being a boxng fan. Erik like many other fighters, was the TRUE peoples champion and he fought for honor, his family and his people. Will we see another el terrible again? i doubt it.

My favorite fighter of all time. People usually put him under MAB because he lost 2 of 3 but I think the third fight was a draw. Morales started slow but he came back strong and had MAB grabbing for his life in the 12th. Paq got the older and tired Morales. Morales totally dominated fight 2 with Barrera, the other two fights were really ****ing close. Mexico gives boxing fans so many warriors but Morales was more than that, he was a bad ass.

One of my favourite fighters and an ATG , I'm not sure we've ever seen a fighter as skilled as Morales choose to mix it in ever single fight of his .

Morales is (obviously) my favorite fighter. Hes what got me hooked on boxing in the first place. I started out by occasionally watching a fight if I caught it on TV because my grandpa used to watch fights. Then one night probably around 1999 I caught a Morales fight on HBO, I dont remember which one, but I thought he was so bad ass. This skinny little 122 pound man was in there giving it everything he had. Then seeing Morales-MAB I is was really got me following boxing. That fight is still the most exciting fight Ive seen yet. (of course there are some that are close like Hearns-SRL I).

Morales-MAB I was great in that there was so much back and forth action. Just when Morales gets wobbled and you think hes about to go down, hes stubbling all over the place and instead of holding, instead of taking a knee or backing up and recouping, out of nowhere he comes charging in swinging and catches Barrera and now its Barrera who is wobbling. That happened several times in the fight.

A LEGEND, one of my favorite warriors of all time.

Sad that his time is over, it had to come one day. Pure heart and balls, there is nothing but respect from me for this boxer. I also have him a notch above Barrera.
