My favorite moment was in the 2nd Mab fight(i think), the 10 sec warning for one of the rounds rang and Morales thought it was the final bell, then proceeded to walk to his corner, Barrera made sure to take advantage of this and started wailing on Morales, Morales threw some punchesback and when the official bell of the end of the round rang, Morales smiled and grabbed his nuts and motioned it to Barrera like to say "Come on!!!"

i loved how in the first fight with barrera....he slipped and the ref called it a knowckdown.....morales just shook his head and smirked in disbelief then came out swinging at barrera once they went back it.

Thats a gangster way in Mexico that means "Me la pelas" its hard to translate but its something like saying you aint **** compared to me.

Morales does have to be the greatest Mexican fighter as of my era. He wasnt a fighter that fought for money. He was a fighter that fought for us the fans. There has not been anyone like that really. I remember that 12th round too in the first Pac fight. At the end he said he did it for the fans. Some people would call that stupidity but i call that greatness. He was not afraid to lose. He always wanted to face the best.
Its funny how Mayweather focuses on him being the greatest ever because of his unblemished record. In my opinion thats not what makes a great fighter. The will to please the fans and take those unnecessary risk is what makes you a legend.
I will miss him terribly since he was my favorite fighter and i doubt anyone will ever be like him. But he has been in wars for far too long and i would love for him to just retire and live a healthy life. Thanx for all the great fights Terrible.

Does anyone else think that Rafa Marquez and Israel Vasquez are the new Barrera-Morales? I have been thinking that lately. Not as great but as far as personality wise i think Vasquez is a reborn Morales and i guess Marquez could be the Barrera.
