I noticed with everything going on in the mainstream of boxing with Pac and Floyd, that the fight with Andre and Shane has been forgotten. It seems ALOT OF FANS ARE WRITING ANDRE OFF AS IF HE DON'T POSE A THREAT TO SHANE.

Shane was given the opportunity to hold the #1 WW spot AFTER HE EARNED IT BY EXPOSING ANTONIO MARGARITO! But it seems that people won't give Berto the #1 spot EVEN IF HE DOES BEAT SHANE!

IF ANDRE BERTO BEATS SHANE MOSLEY THIS MONTH THAN HE IS THE NEW #1 WW.

I favor Andre mainly because he is young and hungry...on top of that I think his speed can bother Shane at times and as long as that chin isn't to weak on fight night Berto will be aight..that or he don't get caught by anything...EXCUSES ASIDE IF ANDRE WINS THAN HE IS THE #1 FIGHTER AT WW..PERIOD

    POLL TO VOTE AS WELL

EXPLAIN YOUR REASONING BEHIND "YES" OR "NO"

i have shane as the #1 welter so if he will beat mosley, i can agree that berto should be the #1 ranked welter.

I wonder why some people vote "no"??? Everyone on esb said if shane beat tony than he was the #1 ww...how is it that that doesn't apply to berto but it applys to shane?

Sorry, I voted wrong..... I thought I was voting on Berto beating Mosley or not....

Yes, If Berto beats Mosley, then he is the man at welterweight, that is all there is to it.

but pac is not too far off mosley since he beats cotto who was the #2 welter at the time and had beaten sugar shane previously.

winner of berto-mosley and floyd-pac could fight to see who's the undisputed at the weight.

would love for that to fold out...really though to be "undisputed" you gotta get all the belts..

With that said it's clear that if pac/floyd winner fought mosley/berto winner than there really is no dispute as to who the best is..the politics of boxing however wouldn't allow the winner of the 4 to call themselves the "official undisputed" champ

The champ spot is vacant at WW. the rest is just rankings about who you think is better than who. I think both Pac and Floyd are better than Mosley at 147. I also think Berto is a tough style matchup for Mosley to handle so even if Berto wins it doesn't necessarily mean he's so much better cause sometimes styles make fights.

But I do think Berto is one of the best WW's. Definately top6 and if he beats Mosley anywhere between 3 and 5.

I haven't forgetten about this fight at all. I think Berto can pull the upset in a 7-5 type of fight if he can get Mosley to fear his power. Taht's a big if cause I consider Mosley has an ATG chin.

If you are so sure bet on the fight, post a copy of your betting slip and you might exclude yourself from the rest of the **** talkers here.

Otherwise you are just in the same boat as the rest of these pricks who think they know the fight outcome.

Put your money where your mouth is or shut up.

The possibility is there. Shane can get old any night he is 38 years and wasn't a defensive genius in his career. Berto the Hungry young lion will maul out a decision from the ageing lion

Im not sold on Shane in this one....I like a hungry and sharp Berto's chances. But I dont see this leapfrogging him to #1. the current #2 guy will take that spot if that is to happen and that is none other than Manny Pacquiao
