Looking for a win in style on saturday to further shove it down his detractors throats . A career best performance on saturday , sending the great roy jones out of boxing with a beating, then retire happy before coming out of retirement to whup americas next big thing ( whoever that will be at the time ) and go out of the sport an unbeaten legend . that'll do nicely .
i think if joe wins the weekend then he is gonna have sp,e great momentum behind him and will probley fight 1 more after that but i would be happy for him to retire tomorrow as he has been to the top off the ladder and not more is asked of him if he beats jones
Calzaghe will win but I dont think its going to be a spectacular showing. both are past there best and with RJJs counter punching style i think they could clash, similar to the Hopkins fight. Calzaghe Pts.
You are wrong man. That is the problem with that fight. Joe won't get a lot of credit for beating Roy Jones Jr now.
I ain't touching the GF if Calzaghe suffers defeat, not because I have any liking for Joe, but due to the fact that even in the lead up to the fight the comments by some posters regarding Calzaghe have been completely ******ed; I hate to imagine what the aftermath of defeat would be like. They are both very good fighters at the tail end of their careers; may the best man win (ie: Calzaghe, because Roy is shot to bits, and whilst overall the better fighter by far - career wise - has a lot less left in the tank than Joe). I predict Joe UD (something like 116-112).
