Yea its ****ing stupid Mayweather asking the fight to be at 147 but whats the point anyway even if floyd stepped up (dont ask me why he dont) and took him on how is this kid supposed to beat him?

too slow, **** stamina, leaves too many openings, hasnt got the footwork, beat a decent but overrated Trout, too inexperieneced the list goes on why do people think a big ass fighter is the only way floyd can lose? its going to take an athletic figter who can cut off the ring has great IQ in the ring good jab ect in other words the opposite of canelo

yea canelo might be good in a few years but this fights all wrong for him he will get schooled and everyone will **** and moan about it then go on to the next fighter "oh i bet lara can beat him"

same **** diff day the fact is even the best fighters in the world say floyd is a level above everyone near his weight class.now if you wanna argue why he has no balls then you know I can see your point but canelo should forget this fight and move on if he wants to avoid looking a clown

Sooooo, the best way for Floyd to prove he's better than anyone is to not fight them?

I see it like this Floyd has fought at 154 twice, his two worse performances where fought at 154. At this stage at 36 you can't blame him for staying at 147, Floyd isn't a middleweight he can't even make the 154 weight limit. He also has guaranteed paydays and doesn't need canelo. Canelo is the young hungry fighter trying to prove himself, he also has been calling out Floyd "as we'll as just about every other boxer". If he wants mayweather so bad he needs to give in to Floyd's demands just as every other up and coming fighter has done to prove themselves. What makes canelo so special that Floyd who's earned his spot has to bend to his demands?

I personally think 147/154 Floyd schools canelo, he's in a no win situation. Fights canelo at 147 he doesn't get credit for beating a drained canelo, fights at 154 canelo would likely come in at 170+ Floyd takes more Punishment then he likes and doesn't preform as well.

Floyds looked the worst in his career at 154.

Floyd is past his prime and has been hit more in recent years.

Would be silly to fight at 154 when you look so much better at 147.

Canelo needs Floyd anyway, if I was Mayweather I wouldn't let the ginger ride my shaft all the way to superstardom either.

Then Floyd should say he's no longer going to campaign @ 154 and will not make canelo come down instead of trying to make it sound like canelo is avoiding him because he won't drop to 147. Even if he didn't want to come up @ 154 why not challenge him self? Who @ 147 is worth paying a Ppv with? I don't mind paying for Floyd fights as I appricate his skill it's truly amazing, but totally pointless against the opposition @ 147. Him stepping up in weight to face a true challenge would enhance his legacy, but doesn't matter to him as he is all about $. Most of his fans would argue his finances instead of his legacy because there so brainwashed, as if there getting any of his money.

You need to ask Floyd that question. He obviously sees something he doesn't like or there wouldn't be an issue.

Who is there really to fight @154 that will match him skill wise? Don't say GGG or Martinez because these guys are 160 that walk around 170/180s. At what point is the opposition too big for fair competition? Canelo skill wise isn't there and people only give him a chance because he's strong and bigger. Skill wise Floyd beats canelo at every aspect on paper besides power. It's going to take a slick fast boxer with a high work rate and boxing IQ to beat Floyd, canelo is not this fighter. Khan as a better chance at beating Floyd if it wasn't for his glass chin. A fast high out put fighter that will edge out rounds on doing more, not taking 2min of every round off trying to steal rounds at the last min.

Explain to me how Guerrero & JMm ever had a chance?

Guerrero dose not even have skill or draw power so there's no explanation for this fight

Khan? Common man! Your talking about khan!

At least canelo has star power & physical power

    Cotto lost to trout

    Trout lost to canelo

There for canelo should be a his next opponent. Who even ever thought Guerrero was going to be Floyd's next fight, every one was talking **** about this fight, talking about there just rumors and guess what? Once it was announced a bunch of people try and justify it.

Will I pay for a Floyd fight yes if he fights canelo next @ 154

Lopez lost to Canelo, but also lost to Jessie Vargas, so should Mayweather fight Vargas. That crap doesn't work. Anyway Guerrero was a mandatory opponent. Has Canelo ever fought a mandatory? He's huge for the weight class, excluding his height which adds to the point. I like Canelo, but he should be only concerned about full fledged super welterweights and stop making a living off smaller guys. He acts as though there are no good fighters in that division. Canelo fighting Chavez Jr. would be about the equivalent of Floyd fighting Canelo. Only difference is Floyd would still be outweighed more by Canelo than Canelo would be outweighed by Chavez Jr. Some people despise greatness. Get over it.

To b honest, I don't really care who Mayweather fights at this point in his career. His legacy is already secure, he's just fighting to get those huge paydays for a nice retirement. His most important fights were already fought, he only missed Pacquiao and that's about it.

its going to be funny as hell when floyd is retired and he is asked how he would do against the next big star that will undoubtably rise. the majority of the publics response wil be "yeah, like his ***** ass would have fought him, lol".

He's going to have his wealth and health. However, for his fans, when Floyd is no longer relevant to the current scene and there's no more to talk about, the only thing he'll have is his legacy.

I essentially agree with u on this. My thing is if its true, why in the hell would Mayweather want it at 147? He cant be that ****ing insecure?
