Come on Ricky you can do it. Its not always the case that the most technically gifted boxers win. There are countless examples of where this is the case. Hatton can also punch and a puncher always has a chance.

Mayweather believes he is the best PFP ever and could have walked over Sugar Ray with ease :yep How deluded is he! I would just love it, love it, if Ricky knocked him out and gave him a real dose of reality.

Come on Ricky you can do it! England is behind you! :bbb

Personally I think Ricky is rather arogant. His whole 'im just a simple lad who likes to have a beer with my mates and give them a root up the arse after watching the soccer' schtick is all bull****. He doesnt quite haave the confidence to be arrogant because he knows as well as everyone else that hes a very flawd man. He would be as arrogaant as Floyd if he had the talent to justify it. Hatton does get arrogant when hes fighting lesser fighters than he: i.e. Maussa

hatton rather arrogant. If that is so pbf must think hes the second coming. Hatton as always said that he took is foot of the gas for fighters like collazo and maussa thats not because he his arrogant because he took them lightly. He his not arrogant at all he his very approachable I should know i've had a pint with him. You can tell Hiedegger is a yank i mean its football not soccer!

Arrogant? I disagree. I fail to see how having a beer with your mates and enjoying the football makes you arrogant.

Hatton himself even admits Mayweather is the far technically superior boxer. Mayweather totally disrespects the legacy of many great boxers that have gone before. Many of whom were superior to him. He shows little respect for them whatsoever. He needs bringing down to earth.

So its wrong for Mayweather to call him the best of all time.

But it was okay for Ali to call himself the greatest?

It's perfectly OK for Floyd to do that.

And it's perfectly OK for us to mock him when he does it.

Who gives a ****. This is boxing. Nice guys finish last. Why pretend to be a good bloke when your ostensible goal is go and render some guy unconscious? Floyd does not have to deny his greatness just so mediocre hacks like Hatton dont feel inferior.

PBF is not the greatest of all time and saying it is a bit disrespectful. I mean could he have beat duran at lightweight or welterweight, Leonard also and robinson at welterweight.

Floyd never said he would walk over Sugar Ray with ease; that is the most contorted snow-balled version I've ever heard of what he said. The lack of optimism clearly shows which side of the fence your bias adheres to. These guys are in the entertainment business and their job is to sell a fight. Mayweather's contributions as well as commitments to charity trounce anything Hatton has ever done. Basing your opinion on a guys pint drinking, ass slapping, good-ol-boy image is ridiculous.

The guy who remarked about how having a beer and watching football is basically endorsing the public image Ricky Hatton is known for, but is ignoring the personality he shows every so often. Saying things like "I'd like to think I'm the best british fighter ever," implies that he actually believes it regardless of what he has and has yet to accomplish.

There will be alot of boxing fans on both sides of the Atlantic hoping this will happen, I think. Personally, I think Mayweather is gonna win a wide UD, and then get criticized for running.

Thats the only thing I get out of what you said. IS by him calling himself the best of all time.

Its the same thing that Ali did but Mayweather is wrong cause he does it?

If you weren't even implying that Im sorry, but thats all I get out of it.

Hattons face will look like a volley ball covered in tomato paste after the fight. Floyd UD 120 - 108
