For all of those who thought that Junior the quitter witter would have stood a change with the Hitman. If he tried any of that clinching **** he did last night against ricky it would have played right into his hands and he would destroyed him on the inside stopping him on his

It always perplexes me when someone thinks of a fighter's very worst performance as "proof" that he could never have beaten some other fighter.

But I agree Hatton should be favoured.

For the record i always though hatton would win but i just wanted to point out that witter was no doubt terrified to fight alexander last night and that mentality doesnt changed and he could never have beaten hatton if he was anyway scared and if he wasnt before the fight he would be after the first 3 rounds

At the time it was slated Witter was the man who came the closest anyone has been to stopping Lovemore Ndou (apart from maybe Juarez but both had him in serious trouble whilst many very good fighters hadnt).
Just because he looked **** tonight at the end of his career doesnt mean he wasnt a serious threat 3-4 years ago.

Witter WAS dangerous for Hatton...and thats a lot of the reason why they didnt fight then.
Thats not ducking, thats just good management..risk vs reward wasnt worth it for a guy as bankable as Ricky.

Witter is past his prime now at 35 but in his prime he had all the tools to beat Ricky Hatton. After Hatton-Pacman, everyone said 'thats why he avoided Witter for 10years

Ricky is wide open to southpaw right hooks, Witter has a big 1, Witter is tricky to hit and has faster hands than Hatton. Alexander and Bradley are allot better defensively than Hatton who Witter would land more frequently on
