Had this argument with some Americans that came in the pub a few months ago. We had a drinking competition between us and his mates, 3 of them threw up and the others ended up with their eyes in the back of their heads, was hilarious.

You need to get out there and see for yourself, and not listen to Rush Adolfo Limbaugh.
Bush is the one who created the stimulus. THAT IS FACT. 2 of them MOF during his 8 yrs. He started 2 wars and refused to fund them with tax hikes, or even reversing his own tax cuts. He left the nation with nearly 11 trillion in debt.

Obama picked up in 09 and for 2 yrs the nation bled b/c of the after effect of Bush. Bush spent 389 billion of the stimulus paying off market losses of millionaires.

Obama sent the remainder of the stimulus, some 314 billion to the states for infrastructure. He sent 40 bil in additional stimulus to the auto companies, nearly all of which has been paid back.
The states are using the money to build new schools. I have personally built 5. The local govts, are repaying these fed loans at a record clip and reborrowing for additions and upgrades to these new schools, and even borrowing for new water treatment plants.

So Bushs stimulus went to pay back millionaires who gambled their savings in the market, and Obamas stimulus gave me and thousands of other high skilled masons nearly a decade or more of commercial SCALE work.

Just so everyone is aware....the size of govt has decreased under Obama not increased. The spending is typical....we were in a deep recession. Every recession is fought via three avenues....lower rates, increase money supply (both via the Fed) and deficit spending via the govt. All this is done in an effort to push up the economy from a recessionary time period. This last recession was the worst since the great depression so this is why the spending has been so pronounced. Lots of people out of work, lots of families need assistance so lots of govt dollars spent. I too suggest those listening to far right media to stop and think of what bill of goods is being told to them. These people are money making machines. They need to distort reality to give there audiences what they want to hear...whether truthful or not. Otherwise they are out of a job.

 

When you see the word Robotic in the dictionary you also see a photo of the Klit brothers. Very typical European Robotic style. Very athletic but also very Robotic. I like the term walking statues. I strongly disagree that this has anything to do with racism. I rate the great black hwts very highly all time. Ali, Louis, Johnson, Lewis, Holmes and Foreman are in my all time top 10. I look at a fighters all time ability not the color of their skin. Toughness, courage, ability to take punishment and not quitting, speed, power, the ability to block, parry, slip, bob and weave, duck, feint and then counter to vital areas of an opponents body, cleverness, endurance, combination punching.
