    If you were his trainer what would you have him do in the fight?

    I don't want any lame bitching in this fight from fanboys. If you've come here for an argument I politely ask you to **** right off.

    All I want is opinions and techniques on how Haye could do this.

    Punch hard on chin early, make him more tentative with the jab, knock him down. Repeat.

    Take out the 'er' and I agree with this. If he rushes him with hooks, using a lot of lateral movement and ducking he could get it. Wlad's never in a million years going to get smashed by a straight one two down the middle ala Haye-Ruiz round one.

    I may be a bit simplistic in my views. If so please educate me.

    to be honest i have no idea. hmm haye has to have great stamina for the fight, he should fight cautios and try! everytime wlad jabs to duck under the jab to the right sight and punch hard to the right side of the body, the same thing when the traigt right is coming than duck and go to the left body side, then he should try to punch to wlad shoulders, that would make his arms tire. and wlad takes a step back when his opponents tries to punch him with straight right hands or overhead rights, i think an uppercut would be not bad. never go back straight! and he should run a lot. the problem is that this is ****ing difficult...

    Surround his jab, by that i mean work around it , either side. The Klits are stand up and straight ahead, with that jab half extended haye moving into the sides and not hanging about and getting back out. if caught inside then good opportunity to roughouse..... that will frustrate the Klits as they are used to bullying and getting there own way. with success inside mix it up with some hayemakers............. can't wait.

    I like your reply. Simple but pretty solid.

    Only thing is the running a lot. I disagree. You run from Wlad and you eat jabs as he hits you from the other side of the ring. I'd like to see him rush Wlad.

    I honestly can't think of a way. I guess try to go to the body to cut him down a bit over the length of the fight, and maybe get in some hooks from decent angles, but he's still got to figure out a way to neutralize (or get inside of) Wlad's jab. Much easier said than done.

    That's great. Exactly my thoughts. There's one thing he has to do and that is to avoid the jab. I feel Haye can do this. Wlad barely ever throws a hook, he's a straight ahead kind of guy. Haye ****ing loves the hooks. That's what I want to see.
