i would have him fight like michael spinks fighting cooney..........lots of angles to keep wlad from setting up his punches.....i would have haye stay off the ropes........and everytime wlad gonna throw a right hand i would have haye beat him to the punch(kinda like mccall fought lennox in the 1st fight)..............i would tell haye not to clinch with this big dude......BASICALLY I WOULD HAVE HAYE TURNING WLAD ALL NIGHT LONG/KINDA LIKE HOLY/FOREMAN.

the thing with the run alot is because you can't execute the gameplan i described if you stand in front of wlad or rush him. haye should use a lot of lateral movement and never run away to wladright sight, especially his left hook is waiting, wlad has his straight right, and he can punch an overhead right, but that only in very few cases, but he can't hook of with his right hand. thats my opinion, i think i haye would rush wlad, than wlad will clinch and bully him around or catch him with a left short hook, because haye is ver open to a left hand, or he would run in a hard fast jab

He could try an AR-15 or AK47 but he better be outta range of that jab and right hand finish.

I disagree. Depending on the opponent, Wlad tends to hook off the jab a lot actually. A series of left hooks knocked out Ray Austin. Wasn't it a left hook that KO'd Chambers?

The left hook that KO'd Chambers was one of the first he'd thrown through the entire fight. Even after Steward had bollocked him. He's reluctant to throw it. I feel if he'd throw that earlier the fight would have ended sooner. Yet Wlad played safe (too safe IMO) and waited until the 12th.

    1. Disrupt Wlad's jab. You can do this by jabbing with him. Whenever Wlad jabs, you need to come in with a double jab. But don't worry about hitting him in the face, he's too tall. In fact, just throw it at his shoulder. It's not about hitting him, it's about not letting him get that jab established.

    2. Move to the right. Avoid Wlad's right hand by moving to the right. This also helps with step one. This also helps in that Wlad will have trouble grabbing you if you are constantly moving. Wlad does not punch as well when he's on the move. He likes to stand tall and be set. I don't understand why people stand in front of him waiting to land something big. He's bigger and stronger than you. Waiting doesn't work.

    3. Keep your right hand up! Wlad can throw a devastating hook. And he can be sneaky with it. This is Haye's biggest technical weakness. His hands are always down. He's got good reaction time, but why be so risky?

    4. Unleash hard right hands to the body. If you manage to do steps 1-3, this should be easy.

    5. Follow up. After a nice shot to the body, throw a combo and get out of there. I like a nice hook and then a right hand over the top, but do whatever feels right in the situation.

    6. Repeat until the fight is over.

Indeed, this is all easier said than done. I think Haye has the speed an timing to do it, but I question his stamina and durability. Haye also has a tendency to get too rambunctious. Klitschko is bigger, stronger, and not to shabby of a boxer. One mistake from Haye and it can be a very short night.

You can use footwork to avoid the jab. Watch where your opponent is stepping and always step outside of his step. This means no matter how much he extends with the jab he's going to have trouble landing it.

One thing we know for absolute certainty is that neither Klitschko can match foot speed with Haye. Nobody tries this on them. It's always an attempt to go man to man. That is a big mistake.

Use footwork to step around his lead and make him over extend with his offense. When he does, cut in close and make him pay. It's really that simple. Make it fast and hard and don't let him recover. Just like Jack Dempsey did Willard.

Willard was 6'6" to Dempsey's 6'0". Some will of course say Klitschko is much better than Willard. I counter by saying that Dempsey was much better than Ibragimov or Chagaev.

Can Haye live up to Dempsey potential? He'll have to pull a Dempsey-Willard on Wladimir Klitschko to do it.

I would suggest for him to fight alternating between overhands and body work.

In the early rounds where his speed will be at its highest I would tell him to feint a lot and EXPLODE in with feints and/or a jab to make Wlad put that mitt out there and then come right over the top with a bomb. Or rip a big right hook to the body. Once in kill that body and lean on his big butt. Hopefully he will be ahead going into the later rounds 4+

After that? In and out. Hopefully Wlad will be playing catchup. I would be moving outside of his jab and throwing TONS of straights to his body. Then following up with the occasional overhand. Finishing up with shoe shining to the body and clinching.

The problem I see in this fight and all Klit fights is that these guys have NEVER fought short. They don't have the back to support it. They don't have the body game to support it. They don't have the head movement to support it. They are no used to punched raining down on them. It is like Wlad is fighting the same fight with variations on a theme. His opponents are in a unique fight that they will only probably have once.

I'd like to see him jump right down his throat from the off and get Vlad on the back foot. We've all seen what happens when Vlad eats a good punch - he leans back and starts pawing with his left hand to keep his opponent at distance. He needs to knowck his confidence early and sow the seeds of doubt. If he lets Vlad dictate the pace then Haye will start eating those big left jab - straight right combinations.

    Exactly!

If he gets him pawing it opens up that body for great shots. Land the great shots he lowers that arm and jabs less. Then the overhand! POW!

counter punch wlads jab!........ haye likes to hold his head and hands low and at times wait for the opponent to move before he does, and as wlad likes to paw out that jab i see Haye on the backfoot (not the best idea but still) waiting for a jab and the right moment to go leaping in to those wild left hooks and right hand hayemakers and i think one will land early and stop the contest

First off...he will need to improve his reactions and head movement from that seen in his bout against Ruiz. Ruiz had a field day with his jab. Haye needs to make Wlad wary...although I think Wlad will already be cautious of Hayes power as soon as they step in the ring. Let Wlad jab and try and avoid it as much as possible...although Wlad's jab is the best in the sport. Maybe try to time Wlad and see the pattern of his jab, if he has one. Time it right, then throw an explosive Hayemaker.
If the bout goes 12 rounds, Wlad wins!

his reactions should improve for the next fight cuz the preparations for the ruiz fight wer poor and he cdnt spare for 4 weeks before fightnight and he said that his defensive timing was out, but i agree he should move his head more
