Ive been boxing since 2003 and already competed in the amateurs but I stopped for a year due to studies and family issues. I gained 45 pounds form 140 to 185 so I started boxing again since feb but ussually just 2 times a week. Im graduating already this week so I want to concentrate on getting myself back into shape first. Theres gona be a tourny on sept so im really hoping that i can get back to 140 or at least 150 by that time im already 170 as of today. Heres my training routine for the first 3 weeks and im gona update it every 3 weeks and increase intensity and add sparring. yea about that any particular diet plan i should follow? I just want to know how i can maximize my diet
between 1500 to 2000 kcals a day evenly spread between 6 meals low sat fat , esential fats between 10 - 20% protein 35 - 40% carbs (no sugar) 40 - 60% with vitamens and lots an lots of water
honestly i dont ussually know how much calories i eat during a day but my diet right now follows 5 meals breakfast: ussually cereal, oatmeal brunch: a fruit (most of the time apple, orange, peaches) lunch: meal with one cup of rice late afternoon: sandwich dinner: veggies and an orange *i drink just water (no softdrinks, powdered juice, iced tea) and milk sometimes what do you think?
