Though I don't have one, I'd fight my brother for the title lol

This doesn't change the undeniable fact that he didn't fight the best, and frankly only good fighter of his division, minus an old, overweight Mercer and Byrd

He did fight the best his brother tore his Acl and retired for 4 years in that time he fought the best. Then his brother retired in 2012 and Wlad again fought the best. It’s a rather unique situation they were faced with. Anyway Wlad fought a lot of good fighters. I do think it hurts him that he didn’t get the old American fighters of the previous generation on his ledger or Lewis before he retired. Sucked all the life out of the division. Plus his style was boring. Very boring a lot of the time. But he was effective.
You also omit Tyson on your list and while most people wouldn’t place him 3rd he’d Be an interesting choice to choose from

Tyson can go no lower than 5. Greatness in a sport is partly defined by ability to transcend. Other than Ali no one in the history of boxing has had his impact. The greatest heavyweight imo not Ali, Louis, or Foreman.

Marciano is my #3 and Lewis my #4, but I am very happy to see Lennox winning the three spot. His stock is growing and rightly so.

    Ali
    Louis
    Marciano
    Lewis
    Foreman

Evander Holyfield does not get in because...well...Evan Fields
Holmes does not get in because of Dokes, Page, Thomas, and title abandoment
Dempsey does not get in because of the color line
Tyson does not get in because he was the third best of his era
Klitschko does not get in because his competition was so very poor
Johnson does not get in because his actual title reign was underwhelming

Does not mean that all of these guys were not great fighters, just that I think they can be considered.

By the way, even though he had some bad losses, I think Fraizer's name should at least be up there as a candidate for being the winner of the fight of the century. Just the consideration would be meaningful.

I have Lewis at 4 for this reason. I feel he missed a lot of guys when they were at his best. Still being ranked number 4 all time isn’t an insult lol. Marciano is my 3 Holmes and Foreman tied at 5 can’t pick one because the losers never fought each other

I'm not sure if anyone would place him at #3, but still, not having Frazier in the mix seems a bit of a miss.
