No, he said Choynski hit him harder than any man.

Jeffries claims Choynski’s left hook is the hardest he had ever been hit

Corbett echos that thought at the end of the article

But these all need to be taken with a grain of salt! Not every boxer speaks the truth about opponents and they are known to give different answers on different days lol

Also not to mention thats one punch. Some fighters are one-punch punchers, like joe frazier

Also when Johnson claims that Choynski is the hardest puncher, he never got hit by a prime Jeffries. That being said, its hilarious how the Barbados demon hits harder than the behemoth Jeffries. Dont let anyone hear that though, they'll start screaming about how weight is the only thing that matters and accuse Jeffries of having no skills.

So...are you looking for the hardest puncher? Or the fighter who hit hardest most consistently? I am not sure they will lead us to the right answer even if we establish a criteria? But I am not sure what your criteria is? Hardest puncher? Or who punches hardest consistently?

The person who hit the hardest with all punches, or i guess the most, especially with both hands. Then again, the hardest punch would also suffice. Say, if Marciano's overhand right hit harder than Choynski's left hook, but hit hard enough to cover the p4p argument....

I may have not thought this out well

At any rate, it seems that Jackson has won the poll

I rate Jeffries higher, but the only time he seems to have looked anything like a puncher was against Jack Munroe, and it's hard to say how good he was.

When Marciano didnt break the top 10 but Shavers and Moore did, there's a problem. McClellan is too low too imo

I just voted for Fitzsimmons to me he is the clear call on the list, but apparently others disagree

In the first fight it was 11 rounds in, and he'd hit the canvas multiple times before being stopped. The ending of the second fight was odd, it seems to me like Fitz injured his hands and just gave up. I could be wrong though.

Still with the size Jeffries had over Fitzsimmons I don't think it's that impressive a display of power.

Which is why I have my doubts about the whole Shavers hit harder than Foreman thing. Boxers often seem keener to give credit to lesser opponents than the best they fought.
