??? how does this go ? i think miller stops the tuff rugged duhapaus ....then we will cee pulev v miller in ibf eliminator ,,,,joshua will fight his wba mandary povetkin after he disposes of parker ....and if joshua/wilder doesnt get made we get too see wilder v ortiz 2 ( rematch clause you bet theres a rematch clause) ...or if wilder wins or ortiz they get wbc #1 guy dillon whye ...this is how the landscope looks
Tasty little scrap in which Miller walks him down and manages the late stoppage. Trash talks about how he wants Wilder/AJ next.
Thank you for making this thread as I was just pondering the same question. After analyzing it a bit I think that Miller will ultimately be too powerful for Duhaupas and will wear him down to a stoppage mid to late in the fight. Duhaupas' size could present a slight challenge to Miller as well as the fact that he has reasonably decent technique. He's a nothing-too-special fighter who has consistently failed at the top level though. The age factor (Duhaupas is 37) also makes it pretty unlikely that he will upset the apple cart.
I also think Duhaupas has regressed a bit. He used to be a cagey semi-slick guy capable of some nice backfoot boxing(see Charr and Teper fights) but he's fallen in love with brawling and has gained some unnecessary bulk. This new approach and gained weight favors Miller by a considerable margin, whereas Duhaupas of a couple of years ago would have a decent chance at scoring the upset.
Wach was being out worked by Miller but was holding his own and going toe to toe until the hand went. I don't see Duhaupas being as competitive. I doubt he can hurt Miller, so best he can hope for is a few lively rounds and then survival mode. I'd go Miller mid to late tko or clear ud.
