Conn = Too small i think he's more like a Super Middleweight in the modern era Holyfield by late stoppage.

Foster = Didn't do well above Light Heavyweight but he has the power, and Holyfield was very hittable and liked to go to war i think Holyfield stops him late on though after some rough moments where he gets rocked.

Moore = I think the crafty old fox could tame the young lion in Holyfield and win by decision.

Spinks = Too awkward hits too hard for Holyfield to exchange with consistently i think he befuddles and outpoints Holyfield.

Tunney = Dealt with Greb's relentless pressure i don't think Holyfield's pressure would bother him Tunney by decision.

You think Spinks hits too hard for Holyfield??

 

Yes I do Spinks is a genuine 1 punch KO artist with either hand and throws punches from awkward angles.

Holyfield can't be gung ho and try to exchange punches recklessly vs Spinks like he often did in the early stages of his career.

Smart pressure is needed from Holyfield I just think Spinks would be too awkward for him and would win a decision.

 

We have pretty much the exact same predictions. Great minds do something alike, they say.

Worthy of a blockbuster movie franchise - like The Evil Dead.

LHs of Doom, YES, - or perhaps, even, LH Army of Darkness? Both work.

It also possesses those compelling nuances that make movies great.

Nuances that give rise to such questions, like - “Is Commander ‘Vander the hero OR the villain here, or is he a murky mix of both personas?

The Holy Commander, a good, but still somewhat flawed, man? Still a human man, after all?

I guess it’s best left to the audience themselves to NUT it out.

 

Somewhat worth remembering Holyfield was only 18 fights deep when he left cruiser. He was moved superfast and developed rapidly but it makes me wonder how a boxing encyclopedia like Moore went have gone in there with him. It's a good matchup. He seemed to carry 180 and even a bit above pretty well. I'd pay to see this one.

 

At that point, I think Moore's experience wins the day. And I think he hits hard enough to hurt a 187-190 pound Evander.

 

There's a very good chance of this being right.
