Just awful. I mean it was damn entertaining from the get-go, crowd was goin nuts, action packed fights, not many clean punches but the electricity was in the air and three punks named Lampley, Merchant and Steward were acting as if they will fell asleep in the second. If you are bored of commentating fights, just stop doing it. It was no de la hoya in the ring so no excitement in the voice for hbo crew ?
my card was 105 104 to mosley in the 11th. yet they made it out like he was shutting mayorga down. i didnt like the hbo commentators at all. it was an exciting fight in that there was alot of danger in every punch.
larry merchant is the scurge of the earth i cant stand that old ****ing invalid has he ever made any sense talking or is he beyond mildly ******ed and just a full out simpleton these days
There is always danger when you have a big puncher like Mayorga, but seriously, this fight was pretty drab. It was close, not 105-104 close IMO, but , their styles were awkward together, and after watching a very impressive Berto, this fight was somewhat ho-hum.
the commentating was good. better than the other networks. they were a little too much on Molsey's nuts, but that doesn't mean Mosley wasn't winning the fight.
