Comments on the Cotto-Margarito Staredown at the Final Press Conference

I felt there was a lot of intensity and it was very foretelling of the fight itself. Two guys who will not back down from one another and are tough as nails.

 

Margarito is in trouble? For the 6th time he will lose? Yes, he has 5 losses.

 

I wonder if Cotto's opponents get intiminated or nervous by his staredown..

 

Oddly, I had a strange dream that Margarito stopped Cotto with a body shot, and I'm picking Cotto to win. Looking forward to this one.

 

What are people saying? I haven't seen the conference.

 

People seem to think Tony was bothered by that staredown. It made me laugh though.

its basically a verb that means to

an example of this...
for those of you with fathers who were very serious and you were intimidated of when you were little...
if you were little and you were running around and you either broke something or did or said something completely stupid....
and before your dad would even say a word..

it was kind of that look where you could feel the flames radiating off his body..and you knew that if you continued to act stupid... you were either getting beat-punished or both

in cotto's stare downs he sons you
and he lets you know that when he comes into the ring hes going to **** you up by that stare...

theres nothing you can do about it .. its inevitable that at some point your going to have to meet up with that man in the ring and he is going to be in your ass for 12 of the hardest rounds of your life.... now unless you dont have strong will hes going to roll right over that ass...

Nothing happened. Cotto gave Margarito his cold stare and Margarito didn't flinch.

Anyone who thinks Margarito of all people would be bothered by that is really digging.
