Does anyone know the best place to park?

Heard parkings going to be a nightmare. We were going to the park and ride but it looks like that's just for the stadium events.

Also, is there anywhere to eat in/around the SECC precinct? Going to two sessions in a day so won't get much chance to head into Glasgow centre in between sessions.

    Cheers :good

Alright mate. I'm not sure about parking at the SECC there's on site parking, but I don't know if there will be many available. I heard traffic will be brutal, so I can only imagine parking will be murder. Maybe better off with public transport.

As for eating there's plenty of places at the SECC like the Rotunda restaurant or you can cross the Clyde and go to Springfield Quay were there's Indian, Chinese Mexican restaurants and Pub for a pub lunches (10 min walk max).
Or you can go walk over the Passover at the SECC into Finnieston where there's a McDonalds and a Greggs  But if you don't fancy that just walk up a wee bit to Dumbarton Road and you'll find plenty of restaurants and eateries. (10 to 15 min walk max)

Got a feeling the turnoff from the expressway into secc precinct is closed due to the games lane. Public transport best option.

Your games ticket gets you free travel within Glasgow.

One option is the Motherwell to Milngavie train which goes through Exhibition Centre station. I believe it's running every 10 mins during the games. I'd park 2 or 3 stations away and take the train.

    Enjoy the boxing!

I would try Cambuslang station, not sure of the car parking situation but there are residential streets all around with no restrictions. It's 19 minutes from Exhibition centre & trains are frequent 10-15 mins apart. Last train back is 1am Sunday morning.

On the M74, leave at junction 3 onto A763 towards Cambuslang. About 1/2 mile, cross River Clyde, 3rd exit at roundabout, drive straight on, past Morrisons supermarket for 1/4 mile and the station is straight in front of you at the traffic lights. (you could park in Morrisons and walk to the station, there are no restrictions)

Try parking in pollokshields (plenty on street parking - I live there) and pollokshields east station is only one stop from central as well as heaps of buses into town on pollokshaws road. Also just off M74 at J1. Also got shields road underground park and ride in the area just off M74/77/8
