Hopefully the beeb will have it available on the 'red button' and show all the bouts, like they did with the Olympics.
From our team (i'm including all the home nations) Iain Weaver at feather, Callum Smith (brother of the pro Smiths) at middle and Paddy Barnes (light-Fly) are the only ones i've seen in action. Tbh, all our lads should do really well as the Commonwealth is the 'easiest' tourney to compete in, and not just for ameteur boxing. Our other fighters i've seen are Khalid Yafai, who was a favourite for gold, but has unfortunately pulled out through injury and Luke Campbell who wasn't selected. I've no idea who the ones to watch from the other countries are, but i suspect the Indian team will do well, as they've apparently come on recently and will have some home cooking...
ones I would expect to come back with golds are - 49kg (lightflyweight): Paddy Barnes - NI 56kg (featherweight): Iain Weaver - ENG 60kg (lightweight): Tom Stalker - ENG 81kg (light heavyweight): Tommy McCarthy - NI
Ones to watch out for from the home nations- 49kgs (lightfly) paddy barnes .NI 52kgs (fly) andrew selby .Wales 56kgs (batam) iain weaver .ENG 60kgs (light) tom stalker .ENG 64kgs (lightwelter) bradley sauders .ENG 81kgs (lightheavy) tommy mccarthy .NI Soom surprise's could come from steven donnelly 64kgs and michael conlan 51kgs from NI.
