Clueless crowd, pissing me off booing that **** off. Maybe I'm wrong maybe they are booing that it was so close :hey

 

Why aren't they scoring body shots?

They need to change the rules to a 10 point system..... as it is the judges can't properly score the action because if both fighters punch at the same time and land with decent shots.... what do they do?

Also.... why no points for stiff jabs and sneaky but easy to see counters?

Not quite as bad as the Olympics when a lad was dropped with a body shot and clearly couldn't continue..... yet the referee was waiting for him to get up atsch

We really are doing poorly at these games. It didn't start well with Yafai pulling out (I really wish he was in the comp, Stubbs would be at his right weight and Yafai surely would not have lost to Khan) and we are now seeing some of our guys losing. Did anyone else see that Amin Isa our Super Heavyweight got beat by a Tongan :? Why didn't Anthony Joshua get selected he won the ABA's and Isa has never won.

If Anthony Joshua was there, I'm fairly sure he would have picked up a medal.

Well I'm sure he wouldn't have lost to a Tongan :-(
Unless this guy wins a medal and turns out to be a David Tua type I will consider that an absolute shocker.

 

I wonder what's happening with Gamal Yafai and Luke Campbell both are at Bantamweight and at the moment they have Luke Weaver ahead of them. All 3 look exciting I wonder if we will see any of them turn over to the pro game.

 

Both very good fighters its just Luke's been on a tearaway this year and is the form guy. A lot to play for in the next couple of years for these lads, see who grows up literally
