Asero, if you wanted to make a thread that would highlight Gerry's heart and fighting spirit, you should have gone positive instead of negative.

Maybe make a thread like..

"Penalosa's fighting heart is equal to which ATG fighters?", and then provide a list of the toughest, bravest fighters of all time.

 

Or post in the already established 4 page long 'Penalosa is a warrior' thread instead of making his own and trying to downgrade an ATG.

 

Nothing really wrong about it.

It's the way you went at it that makes it seem you are downgrading one fighter in order to make your favored fighter shine.

A poll where a couple of the choices are

"A hundred times bigger heart" and "A million times bigger heart"?

Isnt that a bit too much?

 

Because you don't need to discredit Oscar's to make a point about Penalosa's. And you have discredit it because you've not even included a poll option for people who may think Oscar has more heart, and included stupid options in '100x more' or '1,000,000x more'.

You've also made points about Oscar getting knocked out by a huge MW when a MW Oscar himself clearly wasn't. As if that shows a great lack of heart. And made comments about him moving around in the latter stages against Tito.

 

So, OK. Let's say we are just using hyperbole.

Why didnt you add

"Oscar has 1 million times bigger heart" and "Oscar has 100 times bigger heart"

Along with the first 3 choices on that poll, to make it look more fair and balanced?

 

It isn't a crime no....

But it is remarkably stupid.

 

But still, if you make a poll, you want to know the pulse of the people you are giving the survey to.

If the poll says less than 10% voted "Oscar has 100x bigger heart", what's wrong with that? That's what they think, and you are asking them what their opinions are.

Not all of them will agree with you. Some will have completely opposite views. If that's what they think, their say should be added in there.
