I broke down and bought the current issue of RING and I was amazed, most writers and fighters who were asked that question chose the Golden Drag Queen, although the Editors might have just censored it that way. But even my Boy, Al Bernstein chose Oscar.

I'm going to go on a limb, here, based on Oscar's last 2 fights. A guy with Manny Pac like hand and footspeed outboxed Oscar last year. A guy who is hired to carry Floyd Jr.s bags when he jets around the Globe in his Private Lear Jet, bruised up Oscar and I gave lil Stevie 2 whole rounds!

That being that, this will go the distance, Oscar's stamina and legs will come into play post round 7, and I say, officially, Manny Pac, W12 DLH, via SD. Scores of 116-112, Oscar, 115-114 Pac and 115-114, to Manny PAc. :bart

 

I'm not gonna say Pac has no chance. This is boxing and anything can happen. However both those fighters you mentioned had tight defences. Oscar showed against Forbes that his speed was still there and that he could, if conditioned, go the twelve rounds without tiring so long as he does not throw heavy wild punches and instead times himself off his jab. However the truth is that Pac was hurt in the second Barerra fight and in the second Marquez fight. Now he will be facing someone who has the power to finish the job. Pac will have to fight the fight of his career to win this.

Those aren't very good comparison videos, but the thing is, Manny can maintain that pace and speed in his combinations for a very long duration. Can Oscar do the same? I don't think so.
