Kelly's fight with Zuniga might give some insight as to how he will match up with "The Rocketman". Both stand 5'10", have similar KO %, Rocket has about a 3" reach advantage over Zuniga.
Zuniga is probably better than Lockett, which is saying something Lockett probably isn't even the best MW in Britain.
I would be more comfortable if we knew anything about Lockett. Just the fact he's "unknown" mandatory fighter, means if Kelly doesn't blow him out in less than 5, people are gonna criticize the **** out of him.
Good man. Be honest though, what if Lockett has the fight of his life and lasts longer? How much **** are you gonna sling??
It wont go more than 5 - if Lockett has the fight of his life chances are he'd end it before 5 (he can certainly bang a bit) but this may happen once if they fought a hundred times. Wouldn't lose any sleep if I were you. :good
I hear ya. I just DO NOT like to talk **** about anything I know nothing about. That's how you end up with egg all over your face.:deal Pavlik TKO 3.
If Lockett has the fight of his life he'll last 4 But it depends, I wouldn't be suprised if Pavlik couldn't be arsed and looked disinterested. He might slack off and not bother swinging that sledgehammer around with his little finger like he does in training. I wouldn't be too harsh if that was the case, it happened to the best in these mandatories :yep
:good You know esteemed ESB poster TFFP, is the one I'm most worried about. That guy can rain down hell on one's favorite fighter.:deal
Kelly is definitely not underestimating Lockett. It's not in his blood. About a week ago, Kelly was at about 170.
Is it true Kelly regularly balances that tyre on his head whilst juggling medicine balls as part of his training regime? Esteemed posters JETSKI and booradley told me so :blood
That's good to hear. I never doubt his dedication or work ethic, two of his biggest qualities. Go Pavlik!!
