Excellent observation. That was probably the most improvement I can recall seeing in a rematch by a fighter that was totally trashed the 1st go round. And KP dealt with it & poured it on in the final 2 Championship rounds.

    Pavliks a BEAST!:bbb

There are certain threads that partain to certain fighters who turn me from an objective poster into a strange and unreasonable poster, it goes for fighters I like and fighters I dislike.

I don't dislike Pavlik, I praise him for disposing of Taylor that first time around, but something has to be done about his overhyping, which comes straight from Taylor apologism and closet Taylor apologists that seek to make sense of his two losses to a B level fighter.

So he needs to lose to somebody on his level or less, which is possible.

Pavlik's 08 wins and a Calzaghe win will set up a huge fight at 168. Kelly plans on fighting in Cleveland in Sept. It may be Abraham depending on who the MW champ at the time. I don't believe Kelly will go up to 175 to fight Cal, at least not in the next couple of years. That will probably be the only exception to them not fighting in 09.
