He brings excitement. Thing is, his flaws appear to be minor and fixable. I believe he has a great upside. Doubt he gets to RJJ or FM level. Hopefully he lives up to the hype.

Who even said that ? On what video ? I feel like you're lying. RJJ, Floyd, and Whitaker im their primes were on a completely different level.

Based on what exactly? By rabbit punching a guy who has been dropped 9 times? He's fast and hits hard, that's pretty much all we know about Ennis. He isn't what I'd call fleet footed, he isn't particularly hard to hit clean. He hasn't faced a slick fighter, he hasn't faced an aggressive front foot heavy defensively sound pressure fighter. What exactly is giving you or anyone else the impression he's unbeatable?

Dulorme and James both fought each other, did you watch that fight? It was a close one. Dulorme arguably beat him. I think a draw was fair.

You talked about Dulorme like everyone dropped and stopped him. Well...Jamal James (you rate him as a decent W for Butaev) couldn't. What does it tell us about James?

The hate for Ennis in here is real hahahaha....LMFAO

Apparently they talked about fighting each other(though Butaev said he’s first looking for a shot at WBA) so hopefully we’ll find out who’s better sooner than later.

With Ennis, Ortiz, Butaev and Stanionis bursting on to the scene, I wonder how Daniyar Yeleussinov would fit in the picture. He’s been inactive for a year, we need to see him against a Jamal James/Dulorme type of opponent as well.

Don't forget Besputin. Personally, I'd like to see him run it back with Butaev. I had Besputin winning the first time, but the positive drug test warrants a rematch.

There has always been a segment of Euros on here, particularly Brits, with a pronounced anti-American bias.

Conversely, there's a segment of American posters with a similar bias against European fighters, particularly Eastern Europeans.

Just stick to the reasonable posters of all persuasions and ignore the rest

There are entire youtube channels with agendas against euro/eastern euro fighters. They never get taken down or flagged though.

I'm certain that there are. Nor is this site lacking in posters who have an anti-European/white bias.

Likewise, there are posters with an anti-American/black bias.

The world is full of a-holes. What can I say.

Lets not act like James had faced a murderers row. He lost to the name guy that he fought, then went back to fighting cans. Then he gets beat down by Butaev. I'm not saying Ennis knocked out Mike Tyson either, but the can he crushed, oops, I mean Dulorme, took James and Stanionis the distance the two previous fights. So lets put Ennis's taking out the trash in a few seconds in perspective. I won't knock the performance, he did what he was supposed to do. It's unfortunate that a guy like Butaev, with less fights, got the shot at James instead of Ennis, because Ennis needs better opposition so we can properly measure him. He looks the goods. When he beats the **** out of Butaev we will know for sure though.

I thought Butaev had a great performance. I think fights with him and Stanionis, or Ortiz would be pure fireworks. I also think he would get abused by Ennis. James' issue was that he didn't have any power. He hit Butaev clean plenty of times to the head and body.

Butaev, while defensively responsible, can certainly be hit.

Besputin, who has very quick hands and feet, certainly had success against him. Butaev appears to have a solid beard, however, and his rugged physicality, body punching prowess, and relentless approach are enough to cause headaches for anyone at 147lbs.

If the two fought tomorrow, I like Ennis by decision (though I'd expect some bumpy moments along the way).

It used to be more balanced but it's gotten more and more racist against non-whites, with a mainly Eastern Euro obsession. I blame a few shitty mods with obvious agendas running rampant.
