Why you Pac fans jumping to conclusion? I've yet to say his name before this post? Look at you guys, already getting on the defensive side!

i think JMM is offensively more well rounded. Floyd is a better inside fighter. JMM can put his punches together better and control the distance better.

I give JMM the edge in technical skills.

This thread made me think of another question: Can a fighter with better skills be less effective (=winning fights)?

Marquez is a better counter puncher, busier fighter, and gets in combinations, unlike Mayweather.

While Floyd has better defense, and is clearly more accurate.

    :think

he does nothing better than PBF except get off the canvas and still fight hard ...which PBF has NO experience in

They r both greatly skilled. Aside from the hoopla, I'd say PBF and JMM r about even, but MArquez is more fierce in the ring whereas Floyd may have the edge in...

I'm thinking speed, but JMM is underrated in that dept.

PBF is more skilled and the best counter-puncher in the sport hands down. JMM is nice but he's not in PBF's class in terms of countering. PBF can counter the **** outta you with that straight right hand where there's no defense for or the left hook. His counter on Ndou with 2 straight right hands following was thing of legend simply beautiful.... :deal

He's a master counter-puncher probably the best I've seen in the modern era besides Hopkins or a prime RJJ.

I think marquez is definitely the better offensive fighter. He actually throws combinations with meaning. Mayweather throws one punch at a time and the majority of the time all it is is a lead right. Mayweather is definitely the better defensive fighter. I think part of the reason why Marquez gets caught sometimes is because he takes far more risk in his fights and is willing to exchange. I would rather watch Marquez any day of the week, there's not a better fighter in the world to watch.

Let's just put it this way:

PBF humiliated Corrales and stopped it in 10.

Do you think JMM could've done otherwise?

    Defensive?

I think the real question is why are YOU getting defensive? Just because I used Pac as an example doesn't mean I have an agenda. Let's stop stereotyping shall we? Not every Pac fan are ******s like you think.

All I did was contribute in your thread. Is something wrong with that?
