Now that time has passed and a new trio has emerged above the pack, how does each group stack up against the other? I don't see any easy matches between any of these fighters, save Vitali-Joshua (I'd favor Vitali almost 8-1), and Lewis-Fury. That being said, I strongly favor Lewis/Vlad/Vitali head to head. NONE of the modern trio pass the eye test. Wilder is awful on the eyes; Fury does some cute stuff and is a bit slick but absolutely not a complete fighter; Joshua can look good punching in combination but struggles on the outside as his jab is bad and feet are slow. Unrelated to a head-to-head discussion, the professionalism of the new crop is atrocious. Fury and Wilder are literal clowns who have hours of embarrassing youtube footage between them, terrible training methods, and cringey personas. Joshua, as blatantly fake as he is, is an improvement on these two. There will come a time when the Lewis/Vlad/Vitali trio is no longer the greatest definable heavyweight trio, but I don't believe it is now. What do you think, ESB?
Even ancient Wlad almost defeated Joshua, who's the best HW at the moment. Prime Wlad/Vitaly/Lewis would walk through AJs and Wilders like knife through butter.
It's simply not a fair question until the current trio finish their careers. Who wins these? Corrie sanders Wlad vs Joshua Mccall 1 Lewis vs Wilder Chris Byrd Vitali vs Fury See what I mean? The tendency is to put the older era fighters on their best night against the current guys. Wlad and Lewis in particular had some real stinkers which people forget. I THINK when all is said and done id pick lewis and the klitschkos but I can't say that for sure when the other guys careers are only halfway through, if that.
Yeah only Usyk could beat corrie or maybe flip hrgovic or this new up and Comer oksenyndur vrolvolicj
Oh Usyk would most likely school Corrie no doubt about it. And you mentioned up and comers... I’d even favor Usyk over Romanov and Nistor! If you’re not too familiar with those two... here is a couple clips I thought you’d enjoy This content is protected This content is protected
At its current state, ofc wlad/vits/Lewis. The simple fact an old ass Wladimir was up (on my cards) and nearly had Joshua out of there says a lot. But there’s a lotta years still to go. A young Wlad lost to fighters far worse than old Wlad and look what he went on to do. So yeah currently it’s obvious. But I’ll check back in ten years who knows. These guys could go with a bang or a whimper, remains to be seen
Lewis Wlad and Vitali are top ten heavyweights. Joshua is probably on that level but Wilder and Fury are just bums.
I've already scientifically proven that Corrie hit harder than AJ in one of the many many award winning posts I've been gracious enough to share on this site with my fellow ESB forumites.
Romanov is in the early stages of his pro career and last I heard Nistor is thinking of turning pro. So stay tuned Fapper
