    As we all know, the Fab Four is consisted of Duran, Leonard, Hearns, and Hagler. Now, in today's scene, the Fab Four is now consisted of Barrera, Morales, Pacquiao, and Marquez. Between the two Fab Fours, who would you compare each to?

    Mine goes like this:

    Leonard-Barrera
    Hearns-Morales
    Duran-Pacquiao
    Hagler-Marquez

    My reasoning is this: Leonard/Barrera were seen as the stars of the group, with Hearns/Morales being their main rivals. Duran/Pacquiao were the guys moving up from a smaller division to take these guys on, while Hagler/Marquez were the people up in the higher weight class.

    Wasn't Marquez always below Morales and Barrera?

    I much prefer to compare the FAB FOUR to the FORGOTTEN FOUR of the same era

    SRL, Duran, Hearns, Hagler

    vs.

    Curry, Pryor, McCallum, Jackson

    Probably more so vargas when he was in his prime since even in losing he put up great efforts against Oscar and Tito (Mayorga got dominated and really didn't have any measure of success) although he never fought B-hop. That's the only problem, they don't share a common person they all fought.

    Yeah Vargas makes more sense and he fought DLH, Tito and SSM.

    oscar = srl
    mosley = duran
    tito = hearns
    hops = hagler

    atleast thats the way ive always thought of it

    oscar and srl both the golden media boy and olympic winners

    mosley and duran were the smaller fast guy moving up

    tito and hearns were the 147 with the big power and shaky chin

    hops and hagler were the 160 pounders that everyone moved up to fight

    of course there are differences, such has hearns being way more skilled than tito, and that mosley never fought hops or tito

    but overall they are kind of the same arrangement
