Comparisons between Pacquiao and Judah are ridiculous

I can't believe how many times people say "____ can do this to Pacquiao because he did it to Judah". First it was about Cotto, then Mayweather and now Clottey.

    Are you kidding?!

Judah was once a 'good' fighter. Never great, but solid enough thanks to his physical talents. However, Pacquiao is a true ATG. They may have had similar strengths, but Judah's list of weaknesses is enormous whereas Pacquiao is a very well balanced fighter. You can look at Judah's strengths and use that as a reason Pacquiao could also have success, because Pacquiao is better at pretty much everything, but to assume Pacquiao will fail where Zab Judah did is...ridiculous, honestly.

Fairly similar styles, similar physical attributes but a different league of talent between them. Pacquiao is A+, Judah at his best was B-.

Agreed. And Clottey didn't even beat him that convincingly.

    I agree too.

It made me laugh reading back on Cotto/Pacuiao predictions, to see how many people used flaws in Judah's game as reason why Cotto would also beat Pacquiao. How wrong they were.

In the same token..lol the same reason Judah had success early dont have **** to do with Pac's style which is the complete opposite. Judah is a counter puncher with fast hands and power. He also has a better right hand than Pac. Pac is more tenacious, reckless and of course has the better chin and Stamina. Judah aint lose to Floyd b/c of stamina or output. He did not have the openings to land his shots on Floyd's defense after the first 3 rounds b/c Floyd changed his whole defensive strategy(adapting). Pac fights one ****ing way and if you cant defend or you are flat footed he will just basically outspeed you and **** you up. I dont think there is one fighter that can stand in front of him and go blow for blow b/c of his awkard punch style and his speed/power. So Floyd can jab Pac and move without worry about any counters. Floyd would only have to worry about the left and getting caught leaping in with his hooks(pac not being a counter puncher dont mean he cant counter punch). Its a different fight on both sides.

    Right on the money.

Personally I feel that in review, Zab will have had a better performance than Pac. I think Zab is faster and has better reflexes.

Pac has been counterpunching a lot lately learning from his JMM experience. The difference in his counterpunch, though, is he first throws a fake shot. For example, in the Hatton bomb, he threw a weak right before counterpunching hard on Hattons chin with his left.

pac will destroy clottey...judah at his best was better than a b- fighter but clottey will be pac's punching bag...everyone should see this...everyone thinks pac will win...why do pac fans make up arguments

Good point *******. I have noticed that. In the Cotto fight he did a whole lot of counter punching but... that was only when Cotto tried to jump on him he caught him with those akward shots. Same with Hatton. But the thing is Floyd dont jump on his opponents with reckless abandon and his defense is better..lol in close than it is far away. When he fought Marquez.. Marquez was able to land some damn good right hands from a distance but could not do **** in close. Marquez is a better combination puncher than probably anybody and he has a **** load of punches(damn near all of them with perfection) in his arsenal. That right there convinced me of Floyds master defense. It dont matter that Marquez was smaller is when Marquez had Mayweather right in front of him he was missing some nice ass combos. Marquez hand speed was not slow in that fight its just Floyd is damn quick. Marquez would land sometimes with the 4th and 5th punch but not many fighters can throw 5 punch combos with power and accuracy to go with it like him. Manny is not a two handed fighter and he is not a master of combinations. He lets his hands go but it is very avoidable by just backing up. Manny cant cut off the ring or he would of had Cotto out of there in 5. When Floyd said Manny would be an easier fight than Marquez is probably b/c of this.

Judah is leagues above pac. not to mention he actually fights guys while their in their primes and not shopworn or weight drained.
