Compassion might cost Pacquiao his KO vs Mosley!!

    Roach’s only concern about Pacquiao is his tendency to take pity on some of his opponents.

    This, he said, could stand in the way of their goal to knock Mosley out.

    “He’s a compassionate person,” said Roach. “He ends up liking his opponents as time goes on. He feels sorry for them.”

    Roach cited as an example the Margarito fight, where Pacquiao refused to go for the kill in the latter rounds after seeing his opponent badly bruised.

    “He was asking (Margarito) if he was OK in the 11th and 12th rounds, they were nodding to each other,” he said.

    “I urged him not to do that. He said it’s a sport, that he should try not to kill anyone. I agree with that,” said Roach. “[But] one punch can change a fight if a guy gets lucky, though. You shouldn’t let those things happen.”

    As for my prediction, I think Shane will quit to his stool b4 round 10! Mark this one!! CHEERS!!!:happy:happy

    Shane quiting??? If he didn't quit when he was getting outclassed by $ he sure ain't quiting because of pain

    I agree with roach a hundred percent on this one, especially with a guy like mosley take him out as soon as possible.

    Nah I don't see Mosley quitting. He didn't quit in the worse beating of his career(Forrest 1) and even while being very faded he didn't quit against Floyd despite Naseem warning him that he'd stop the fight. The only way Mosley gets stopped is a) on the canvas or b) against the ropes.

    and floyds offense is nothing compared to manny's, mosley is in for such a beating that they will be forced to stop him, eventhough mosley never will.

    Floyd has great offense it's just that he usually isn't as aggressive as he used to be. Pacquiao utilizes more angles and I do have his offense over Floyd's though Floyd has great offense himself just not a high output. I'll add another option from my last post, c) Mosley's corner stops it against Shane's wishes

    He realized he didn't have the power to KO marg, but he would cause him too much damage if he kept a higher pace. That's why he took it easy in the last part.

    I didnt ment it as a diss towards floyd, I think pac has the best offense in the game while may has the best defense. If floyd got nazeem thinking about throwing the towell then pacs beating will make him for sure. no 1/2 shots just 6/8 combo's landing.

    he respected cotto more, he saw margarito as inferior to himself and therefore didnt train how he should have and felt sorry for him during the fight, pac respected cotto and oscar thats why he showed up and was vicious. I think he thinks highly of shane as well and therefore will look to stop him.:smoke

    Shane will be TKO'd . COrner or ref stoppage. Shane looked discouraged when Floyd started hitting him. Manny will tee off on him by the mid rounds.
