Duràn vs Paz and Duràn vs Camacho I.
I agree, those fights could've gone either way,but the judges are so biased on Duràn's opponents, the scorecards shouldn't be that lopsided.

I agree with all of these and will add another fight from this era, Quartey vs Forrest. That decision was absolutely atrocious. Vernon did when a few rounds so it doesn't quite fall into a robbery but it was a fight that robbed Quartey of a title shot against Carlos Baldomir which he almost surely would have won.

The fight was at 154, so I'm not sure how Baldomir relates.

Ball never fought Fulton. Are you referring to Nick Ball vs Raymond Ford or Stephen Fulton vs Brandon Figueroa? Those 2 fights were really close and competitive with some sour grapes on the results.

Yes, Raymond Ford. Second time I've done that with his name.

Ball vs Ford could have really gone either way to be honest but I can see why people had Ford edging it.
Who did you have winning between Stephen Fulton and Brandon Figueroa?

Another competitive fight that was a bad decision IMO was Jesse Burnett vs Leon Spinks.

I’m pretty sure I had Fulton.

Forrest fought and beat Baldomir for the vacant 154 pound WBC title after he got the decision against Quartey. Had Quartey rightfully got the decision against Forrest, he would have been inserted as the mandatory and gotten the title shot instead of Forrest.

I didn’t realize that was for a title. The Quartey fight was a ten rounder rather than eliminator though.

I also thought Ford beat Ball I liked his cleaner accurate punches most seemed to disagree with me in the RBR thread though.

It’s one of those types of fights that come down to if you like cleaner shots versus higher workrate. I recall having the fight scored a draw but I have no complaints at all on the results. It was that close and hard fought from both guys. Excellent fight where they should run it back at some point.
