What are some fun, competitive or interesting fights that ended within 5-6 rnds? Why? I’m showing one to a class and don’t have time for a fight that lasts much longer.
Gatti-Rodriguez and Pettway-Brown were the first ones I thought of. Both 6 rounds, both brilliant fights.
Cello Renda vs Paul Samuels was 8 rounds, but worth throwing in there. A fiery encounter between two domestic middleweights in Britain, had the pleasure of witnessing a double knockdown live
I'd put a sig bet on my choices...play anyone and they don't like em, I'll log on here --you name of choice for a week with an apology!!! If you don't need to be diverse for the class, I recommend Katsidis vs Earl 4th round about 1:20 left...I bet U, nor the class will be able to count the punches thrown...it's ridiculous what Kat throws!! This content is protected If you want a fight that STARTS off WILD...has a knockdown for both fighters and ends with a brutal beating then U want Kirkland vs Angulo...from the 10 seconds in, the class will be HOOKED! This content is protected If they don't mind an oldie--show them how the George Foreman Grill man used to grill foes in less than 30 minutes aka Lyle-Foreman This content is protected
If you want to teach them about fear and how to deal with it...may I reccomend this one I mention this quite a bit Hop vs Hakkar. At one point Hakkar tries to get the ref to stop the fight...But he won't. Commentators said it was the 1st time a fight was stopped by the promoter. Not corner, ref, or doctor. The promoter did This content is protected Need to instill confidence to take on the big guy, when one is small, I'd say This content is protected Final one trial by fire, Evander's first brawl he was in over his head, the conquest to be an overachiever: this one here! Had BYarm had fire power --Holy would've lost hist 1st fight, but the State CHamp was an arm puncher This content is protected
