Good episode. i thought it was going to be more boring. You dont need to guys play talking on the phone with stacks of money for it to be interesting.
Its gonna be a good fight. Both fighters proving a point ending it once and for all but Manny has the edge..he is a different fighter and Marquez is the same and little less of a threat with the age and added weight. One thing is for sure, the fans will not be robbed like the Bull$hit Mayweather/Ortiz shenanigan. Pac will make sure this don't last 12 like when Floyd went 12 with a much smaller Marquez. I predict 8 rounds KO by the libra por libra champ Pac.
great episode. You can still make a compelling episode without a bunch of crazy idiots acting like fools on camera and being drama queens. I get a kick out of Nacho, funniest looking mustache, old school and calls his wards "cabrones" lol ....
true that....all that staged thug act is for WWE. Marquez is a gentleman fighter and a great example for young fighters. A true warrior and Spartan. Pac consoling Linares after his loss was touching and you could tell Pac really felt bad for the guy.
Personally I enjoyed it more than any of the May vs Ortrees 24/7s, but I suppose it's all down to individual taste. I can't stand to watch that man-boy Mayweather doing anything other than boxing, so watching any tv show he is in is a real chore for me. He just makes me cringe. I liked this episdode, it's good to see Nacho and I thought the Linares stuff was great - a bit fight camp 360
"We understood in that moment that we were going up against more than we'd been expecting. A bundle of dynamite that looked like a Filipino guy."
But I like what JMM says better... it's much more humbling and respectful (unlike "the yellow tshirt" he wore not too long ago ). Hmm, then again, I'm not sure 'coz it was probably just the way his words were translated. Nonetheless, I still liked his statements more than Manny's in this episode. Interesting take. A bit off topic but it kinda reminds me of one of Kimbo Slice's MMA match wherein his opponent kept circling around him on one direction causing him to pivot most of the time on his leg with the twisted(?) knee. It's just the 1st ep.. Maybe (or hopefully) they'll do it on one of the next 2. All in all. I'd have to agree with the others; The Linares coverage was indeed refreshing for a 24/7 episode. Anyway, funny how I am also starting to see how some have already started to 'stock up on ammo' for their excuse/s come post-fight just so they can say stuff like "It's like what I've been tellin' ya'll from the beginning, he was gonna lose(/win) because of this & that. I called it even before the fight, here's proof. You can even see it here..." then provides a link directing to his post on a particular 'Pac-JMM 3' thread. :-( Typical hater move: If the fighter they hate wins, they'll say anything to discredit the win with the all-too easy & obvious excuse... that it was a mistmatch to begin with. BUT If the fighter they hate loses, sure enough, the criticism will continue as usual. Saying that that fighter was never really any good.
good show but i was also hoping to see Pac's sparring partner that was talking thrash who then got beaten up.
Good episode, 2 warriors who give everything to boxing... its interesting to see marquez outside the ring since he never really gets media coverage .. lol i never thought he would drive a yellow bigass hummer. Ariza comes off kind of annoying to me sounds like he belongs in the money team shows no respect for marquez even Freddie gives marquez his props...
