I don't want to **** on Mayweather too much. He is probably the moost gifted fighter out right now. Yet, he would not be undefeated had he fought Oscar 1996-2002, the top welters of the nineties or today. But before I finish this statement I have to make clear it is hard to gage Floyd as he is not really a welterweight but a fighter that moves up and down at will.
If the judgest hadn't jobbed Castillo. If he faces Cotto. Those are the only two things that I would say are actual things that could/would happen in his career. The other things are all theoretical...like if he faced a prime _____. And believe me there are at least 20-25 people prime for prime I would take over him from 130 - 140. And a tone more at 147 lbs. But those are all fights there was never any chance of him making.
The real #1 Welter is Cotto; #2 Is Margarito, #3 is Quintana. Hatton is not a real Welter defence. Ring Magazine can kiss my ass.
