Compubox Punch Stats are in for last night's robbery on "the scene". I definitely didn't see Shumenov land this many punches, but what do I know?

Shumenov landed 13/213 jabs to Campillo's 90/257 and he landed a total of 206/544 power punches to Campillo's 230/509 for a total of 219/757 for Shumenov and 320/766 for Campillo.

Like I said, I didn't see Shumenov land ****. He was hitting Campillo's gloves all night. Winding up and telegraphing like crazy. I had him winning round 1 and that was it. I expected the difference in punches landed to be much higher. 101 punches just doesn't seem right to me, but that is a pretty big difference.

It was a robbery regardless, but I don't even think these punch stats are right.

There's a good article on this on the scene. Jarman should definitely be banned and there should definitely be an investigation. Roth f'ed up bad too. 115-113 for Shumenov. WTF was he watching?!?

I dislike punchstats and believe this is one of the things boxing needs to get rid off. It brings controversy and excuses for fighters and fans to cry at times. It's design could lead to misleading numbers, esp. when we have people pressing the button.

    GBP BUYS JUDGES... period.

There is just no other valid explanation for the fkd-up decisions on their cards lately.

What were Jarman's credentials? What was Roth watching?

Nobody,,, I mean NOBODY could be that stupid... let alone a professional judge!

    It's blatant corruption.

compubox is for amateurs.. thats the worst and most overrated stat in boxing.. first they're not acurate and secondly even if they were they're not a good meassurement to see who won a fight..

jarman and roth were bought out for sure, roth knew campillo was going to get jobbed and made his scorecard as close as possible; Jarman just wanted to keep her job and scored it wide to satisfy GBP.

No way BS landed 219 power shots. You are exactly right, he was drawing glove with almost every punch. I bet he didn't land more than two or three shots in those middle rounds. Compubox is way off here, unless they're counting punches landed on the other guy's gloves as a power shot.

FSN is Golden Boy's new pet network for showcasing their prospects. The fact that they're new to covering boxing helps alleviate suspicions.

Shumenov's main defence in the first fight was 'Compubox shows I should have won.'

I guess Team Shumenov will not be using these stats from last night

Yeah, not only were those telegraphed punches blocked, they were obviously blocked. This wasn't one of those close-range fights that's tough to score; Campillo caught everything at range and blocked them easily.

Not even out of January and already a strong robbery of the year candidate. :nono
