Joshua connected on 93-of-270 jabs, nearly twice as many as Parker (49-of-316). According to CompuBox, Parker landed more power punches than Joshua (52-of-176 to 46-of-113). Still a judges gave him only 1 round.
114-114 draw Given expectation, Parker certainly impressed more. Either way the easiest bet to make on this fight was for it to go the distance. Similar to when Joshua/Brezeale's over/under was being put at 4.5 rounds. "Over" in Joshua fights are money makers.
I'm in no way an Anthony Joshua fan and the cards were wide, but come on guys, he won the fight, I have to expect you'll all at least say that much. He wasn't impressive, he isn't special, but he won tonight. I had that 116-112
This. It was easy money. Too bad Parker has such little power, but Parker took a ton of flush shots from Ruiz, so I knew Joshua wouldn't be able stop him or knock him out.
Bull****. I had him losing the fight. Could gone either way, but it's nuts to say that was not a controversial decision.
I noted Joshua was trying to land that sneaky uppercut that beat Wlad, missed every time though. Wlad was on for the matchroom robbery if that hadn't landed.
Close uneventful fight where Parker's stock rose slightly and Joshua's dipped slightly. Joshua edging it is permissable. Kiwi ref should thrown off the skytower
