I'm good with AJ winning, though I had him losing. But if so it was a round or two. Not ****ing 10 to 2 or 11 to 1.
1. CompuBox is pure trash. Not accurate, shouldn't even be talked about. It's always off, upon video review, half the time not even close. 2. CompuBox counts anything other than a jab, as a power shot. We all know Parker hardly landed anything upstairs, he did work Joshua's body in some of the infighting though.
Can't say I even see where you're coming from to be honest, Parker tried his hardest to negate the reach disadvantage, but was unable to do so often enough to win enough rounds for the fight to be his, coupled with the fact that the ref wouldn't actually let him. I could see it being closer than I had it for sure, but a suggestion that Joshua didn't win is ludicrous in my opinion
Likewise. Can't see where you're coming from. Agree to disagree I guess. And I think AJ winning is better for boxing. But that **** is bull****
Parker won at least 3of the first 6 IMO. After that....meh. nothing of note eventualising. Joshua maybe won 2 clear rounds. Parkers tired visage made for bad optics...probably swayed the knobends
What if he landed his extra power shots in Rd 5 but got out boxed and out punched in the other 11 rds
Well I had it 3 rounds apiece after 6 rounds if that makes it easier. I don't, I'd have enjoyed seeing him lose, just can't see how anyone could say he did unfortunately. To each their own
He won 5 of the first 6 to me. And then Joshua won 5 of the last 6 just as clearly. And yes, I know there was little to no action. The rounds were still relatively clear.
People get hung up on the adjective. Power punch just means non jab. AJ's jab was causing way more discomfort to Parker than Parker's powder puff shots.
118 - 110 X 2 & 119 - 109 are way too wide but Joshua won the fight by 4 clear rounds so in the end no drama.
I thought any range of 8-4 either way would’ve been fair. 11-1 and 10-2 are ridiculous and make the sport look bad.
I know its distributed and hinsight with the buttress of stats is easier than realtime. Just highlighting the absurdity of 11 rnds to AJ. That would imply Parker had a stellar round, which hedidnt, and clearly won 3 ofthe first 6 on the body power shots alone. Also I had german commentary and they all were convinced AJ winced after a body shot around rnd 4,5 and they were saying Parker shoulda pounced. Needs investigating. Not unhappy with AJ edging, though he hardly won it. Parker didnt win it is more the tune
